In reply to: Windows Live Writer issue and WordPress 2.6xFor those who made a lot of helpful suggestion re. HTML and the Visual editor, this is a weird problem where WordPress displays _partial_ HTML instead of th desired human readble form. In other words, a paragraph which should read “This is my paragraph” and which of course in HTML shows “<p>This is my patagrah … instead displays as ” p>This is my paragraoh … (note the leading ‘<‘ character is stripped of, breaking the code.
I have this same exact problem, which is incredibly frustrating as well. www.ads-software.com folks – help!

In reply to: Trackbacks not showing up in my comments?I’m having this same problem also…
I’m using the manual ping tester at https://www.redalt.com/External/trackback.php to send the pings, but nothing is showing up on my site comments section.
I know I’m getting the link correct because it auto displays using this code:
‘Trackback URL for this post: <?php trackback_url(); ?>’
Can anyone help?

In reply to: Blogger Import Times Out When “template-edit in progress”My host managed to fix this issue…
Just sharing the solution….
“The import uses php function fopen, which is beneficial for importing but dangerous for shared server. It is suggested to be off in overall php configuration. I enabled that for for the time being for you to import from blogger. I need to turn it off again or else script kiddies will start importing codes using fopen and that would be a total disaster”

In reply to: Blogger Import Times Out When “template-edit in progress”I’ve even tried simplifying my template to a default template, but that doesn’t seem to be working either!
