I am having the same exact issue. I validated my recipe page and get the same errors as the above author. Pinterest will validate my page but gives me the error on Author and Has qualified Rich Pin Data Type. When I look at the source code Yoast is outputting the author data. But Pinterest won’t let me “Apply Now” to enable Rich Pins.
Please help.
