Finally had some time to spend on this today, sorry for the delay.

I’m ticking some of the boxes you mentioned above: many special characters, different SQL version (5 vs 8). And even though the charset and collation are identical I can see the empty array after importing.

Luckily my client has a staging server that is identical to production so I’ll make sure to use that as a starting point for content, in stead of localhost.

I’m finding the official WP importer to be a hit or miss experience with ACFe. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

For instance the ‘Taxonomy Terms’ field. If ‘Return Value’ is set to ‘Term object’ in stead of name or id this fatal error occurs on edit.php:

I did ran into some issues after posting this review. Most field types throw a fatal error when their output is set to ‘object’ in ACF.

Besides that, it would also be a great addition to be able to choose which node/value in the object to show in the column. This is especially handy in relationship type fields that return id’s. Seeing a name or title in stead of that id makes much more sense.

yes 100%. with the plugin installed fatal errors occur on member registration and editing.

Please don’t force us to use what we don’t need. Come on @ricav, you’re better than this.

You are right, it does work with TTF theme for example. I edited my review. I’ll leave it as a warning notice for Elementor users.

The plugin actually works up to a point in Elementor. Only the message is’t displayed.

I’m a bit surprised by your comment about Elementor compatability because there are many other plugins that change the output of Elementor Woo specific elements. If I were to contact Elementor and ask for compatability, what is needed exactly?
