At the risk of sounding ridiculous I want to keep this simple and just say, “dude, your CG pack may not be playing nice with Firefox 1.0.4 and/or WP 1.5.1.” I was getting a ton of odd behavior from WP (including pages admin pages not fulling loading, links loading in new tabs – just frustrating odd behaviors) which all went away when I deactivated CG pack.

Perhaps it’s something. Perhaps not.

Are you agreeing that this looks like a case of someone hacking the database versus someone with admin accesss?

What on the fckeditor site made you think you could just drop it into the plugins dir on WP? I can’t see anything referencing WP support. OTOH, there’s a thread on integrating TinyMCE (another editor) into WP where a poster talks about the possibility of *integrating* fckeditor. Doesn’t sound like it’s as simple as tossing anything you downloaded from fckeditor.net into WP’s plugin dir.

Hmmm. Nothing on any front. Would love to see this plugin. I just think images grab viewers better than text. So, while it’s easy enuf to put up a Recent Posts list it’d just be flashier to have each post represented by an image.

Yep, there’s a way to keep posts from showing on the front page. I can’t actually recommend it. It did work but may have been behind my categories disappearing from the category listing.
