Update:

Downgrading the theme solved half the problem, but I was getting what is known as “WordPress black screen of death” afterwards. I had to install a plugin called JQuery Migrate helper and downgrade JQuery to legacy. After that I downgraded my theme to the previous version. This solved the issue for now.

There is still some strange things happening, for example I cannot remove the newly updated theme from my cPanel. If I do this it messes up the custom styling. I have to keep the newly update theme and child theme, but name them differently so I can use the old theme and child theme for everything to work as it should.

I believe InspiryThemes should do their part and address the issue. I do not have a support ticket and I am quite disappointed of their lack of theme support. It is unfair that customers pay $40 US for only 6-months of support for a paid theme when this is a problem with their theme and the new WordPress updates.

Anyways, appreciate the help @tualquilerenmiami I hope they will fix this soon!
