Something more, with default carousel-view.php selected the gallerys don’t works fine, when I make clic on a thumbnail it doesn’ diplay the photo and goes to the begining of the post. Then, I selected “default-view.php” and it return to work.

Hi, no problem, now I saw that my site haven’t a custom template. I choosed the default carousel-view.php, but it doesn’t work…

I don’t believe that I created custom templetes anytimes, but I’m not certenly shure. If I did, I haven’t problem to discard it, actually what I need is to solve the issue for why the single pics not be displayed.
Copy that folders to the new ubication could help me for this?

Thanks for your answer, now I see the old folders:

…\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules

There are 38 folders, have I to copy all in

“…/public_html/tallerfoto/wp-content/ngg/modules”?

I renamed it but nothing has change…

According that I understood of Codex I set the adress in wp-options>site url, but in my BD dont exist the row “home”
On the other hand, the Codex says
“If you had any kind of rewrites (permalinks) setup you must disable .htaccess and reconfigure permalinks when it goes live.”
but I do not know how to disable the .htaccess, could you rename it? that will not bring other inconveniences?

I add, when I put an entry as a fixed, the NextGen Gallery settings are lost and, instead of viewing the thumbnails as a grid, they are seen in a single column and when clicking on it occupy the entire screen.

If you press the title and go to the address of that entry, it recovers the format and sees it normally.

Both problems, this one of the fixed input and the one of the input that does not show the content appeared simultaneously

Hi, you have to see what is the resolution of the photos, to hold up well on the screen should be 96 dpi, it can do it in Photoshop or another image editor.

I read the article it is very good and clarified me some points. I confirmed that I am incorporating metadata correctly in Lightroom, which is imported successfully to NG.
However using [nggallery id = 1 template = caption] the descriptions appear in the enlarged photos, but not at the bottom of the miniature as in the example.
I’m using the theme Twenty Twelve is it equipped with the necessary template? Is it possible to import this template? I saw that article is from Photocrati, is this a proper function of that theme?
I had been watching the themes of Photocrati and is in my plans the option to buy, if I see the site easier to perform, but I dont found a complete description of the features offered.

Neither got the blog finder find keywords metadata imported from Lightroom.

Hi, thanks for your response DoubleSixx. The points you mention are fine.
Actually I think it all works well, I’ll try to better formulate the question.
When editing the pictures (in Lightroom in my case) I incorporated keywords that are then find Internet search engines, and the same with the photos I order my own. Keywords are the heart of an image bank.

The blog finder ignores this metadata. Search through the titles of the galleries, and between keywords specific to WP added when create a post, but not those within the metadata of each image file.

I need to search into these metadata. It could be making with the WP search the note, or other specific search for it.
Will there be a plugin to perform this task?
Or else what would be the way to accomplish this?
It is rare that there is not any solution for this, because it is basic for a site selling images.

It is solved.
There is a tab, I think is new in this version of NGG to change the theme, I changed it and it worked, after that I stuck my template and it is all right now!

Hi, I use Cooliris too.
Each time I upgrade to a new version of WP, Cooliris stop works.
Suddenly at one time, unexpectedly, it come to works again, and I never understood what was going on.
Then if somebody know something about this matter post it please.

I think that it’s possible that it’s Better to take it with patience, change the theme and check Each change I do with the validator, that I Didn’t know.

Deactivating all plugings has not repair anything.
But when switching to default theme it works!
Now, I have not time to change the theme and adapt it to my needs.

How to find whats wrong?
Actually theme is Andreas 09 CyberPress, but I modify it so much.
