The plugin was not updated since 1 year and had a warning message about it. I had to send a “fake” release to reassure everybody, including some tools that suggest to delete all old plugins not updated anymore.
Hope this is clear enough.

Short story behind the removal of the plugin from the repository :
1. WP.org send me email but my email had trouble. So they automatically remove my plugin. Nothing to do with the security.
2. Then, to restore they have a process with a manual audit from a human of their security team. It got approved.

Indeed, it seems Wordfence is having false positive. :'(
I have no idea on how to restore trust from them.
If someone does, feel free to answer below. ??

Je pense que vous l’avez constaté, le plugin est de retour et je profite pour confirmer qu’il est compatible avec WordPress 6.1.
Pour la petite histoire : le plugin a été désactivé plus ou moins automatiquement car lorsque la plateforme www.ads-software.com m’a envoyé des emails, ceux-ci ne sont pas arrivé correctement et ?a à été détecté comme un signal négatif.

The WordPress team told me that some features are on cache and they cannot do anything themself.
Here is the quote from their email :
“You may notice your stats are out of sync for the next while. Since our systems are heavily cached, this can take a while for all the servers and APIs to catch up. Please don’t panic. They’ll reset properly given enough time, and there’s nothing we can do to speed it up.”

I guess in 1 or 2 days this will be ok.

Yes sure, I will explain the story behind this new release.

My email was bounced when some automatic email tried to reach me. As a result, all my plugins have been removed from the WordPress repository (they though I did not maintain the plugin anymore).
When I contacted them to explain I’m still present, I had to release a new version to confirm the plugin is compatible with WP 6.1. Since the plugin was already compatible, I just changed the compatiblity version (so I wrote “nothing special” on the release note. Yes, now I realized I should have be more explicite).

About the security: their process to restore a plugin require an audit from their team. They checked it deeply and it was approved.

To resume : there is no problem about the security, the plugin was removed due to a bounced email.

Je confirme que le plugin est encore maintenu. Je ne propose pas de nouvelles fonctionnalités car celles existantes sont simples et fonctionnelles. A chaque nouvelle version majeure de WordPress, le plugin reste opérationnel.
A noter : depuis quelques jours l’équipe WordPress a désindexé le plugin. Je travail avec eux pour rétablir son indexation.

Hi,
This is an intentional behavior. The idea is to avoid keeping data about the plugin when it’s not used anymore.
If you wonder how it works, it’s in the source code of wp-sitemap-page.php file, around line 104, these functions : delete_option().

Please, be aware if you modify the source code, this will be overwritten each time there is a new version of the plugin.
