I did a rollback and it looks like all forms are working correctly. I have to mention that the whole procedure was very easy, thanks to WP.

But this is not a solution, as @pca2014 saying it’s a workaround to have the site working properly. I hope the developer will come out with a solution soon.

It seems that this problem is widespread.
I can understand the frustration of the developer, but this much-loved plugin & very popular plugin is a crucial part of the sites it is installed. It had its share of bugs in the past so I would expect from the developer more attention when releasing updates.

Unfortunately, there is not an easy way to roll back to the previous version of the plugin.

Is there a way to automatically set this using code in the functions file?

Also the Advanced tab is available only to the Administrator of the site, correct?

We had to remove your plugin. The cpt popped up today after the regular plugin updates on one client’s site. The cpt was not created when updated your plugin a few days ago. At first we thought it was a malware installed by another plugin. We spent a few hours to understand what was going on.

Really now, in what state of mind you decided to create a cpt named ” Do not sell info”?

I found the culprit!
It is the GDPR Framework plugin that was updated a week ago!
I will now investigate why they do that.

It is very odd as I was able to replicate it on the staged site. I contacted my hosting support that run a comprehensive site scan and found no threats or malware. Now it is possible that the creation script was part of a different plugin and was installed on an earlier date waiting to be activated on the plugin update.
