In reply to: how to add ALT tags to "custom" logos?I would listen to esmi, he’s helped me before. I checked your page source and the blog name and description is there, so you can’t have deactivated it in WordPress settings. The theme could have a setting that extracts that information and displays it under the CSS background in case an image is deleted/broken.

In reply to: The Morning After Logo UploadsIt’s okay. Alright, wherever you are hosting the website, you can browse to your cPanel usually by going to:
https://yourdomain.com/cpanel/
After logging into cPanel, go to the file manager. From there, click on public_html and if you installed WordPress to your main directory, browse to wp-content/themes/morningafter/images and inside that folder, there should be a logo file. Replace that logo image with your custom logo and it will replace the logo on the website. You can also accomplish this using a FTP software such as FileZilla, which will allow you to remotely access your server.

In reply to: The Morning After Logo UploadsBrowse to the theme folder on your server, which should be under wp-content/themes/morningafter and under images, you should find a logo image file. Upload YOUR logo image file there and replace the default one.

In reply to: how to add ALT tags to "custom" logos? The way the CSS is set up, you don’t need an ALT tag because the way the CSS is set up, you are using h1 tags as the name and using the CSS to display the logo as background, so in case the images were turned off, it would show your blog name and description.

In reply to: WordPress IntegrationNo, plugins for WordPress are plugins for WordPress, you cannot interchange plugins. Well, you can, but you would have to code your own plugin similar to the one you are trying to accomplish, or you could find a similar WordPress plugin.

In reply to: Modifying widget area positionWhich theme are you using? 2 column templates usually have options that allow you to manage the widgets in each column. Widgets is a WordPress feature, so if you add widgets to the default WordPress location, it will insert the widgets into the primary assigned area for widgets within the theme.

In reply to: Post Alignment is offI don’t exactly understand what you mean… what are you trying to accomplish exactly? Are you trying to automatically align all posts centered? If not, you can align text from within WordPress’ visual viewer or use HTML code to center text/objects.

In reply to: Headline Title Not AlignedEDIT: It displays fine in Internet Explorer, it’s just messed up in chrome and Firefox, how would I fix it in all browsers?

In reply to: WordPress Auto Excerpt Improper SpacingI sort of fixed it by removing the strip tags, but then it messes up the rest of my page, so I guess that’s not a solution. If some guru on here could offer me a good solution ??

In reply to: Arthemia Headline CustomizationWell, sort of. See, I removed the strip tags (because the theme was getting the excerpt for all posts, including the headline) but that messed up the rest of my page because of the HTML tags in my posts. So I just added an excerpt to the headline to fix that, but I still want to figure out how I can have it do that without me manually entering an excerpt as WordPress gets an automatic 55 word excerpt, which in not only the headline, but also the posts below it, it is not spaced properly (the paragraphs are bunched together). I’m probably going to make a new thread about it.

In reply to: Images wont align center (Theme: Arthemia)Fixed ?? Thanks!!!
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Arthemia tags read as tagsYea, it was stripping tags, but when I removed that, it messed up the page due to the html tags in my posts, so the only way to avoid that, is to add an excerpt to the posts and that will fix the headline.
