Just a quick update: I was able to find the code of the offending plugin (RegistrationMagic), and inform the developer. They will be issuing a patch soon to address it.

I must say, the profiler helped with this. Normally, RegistrationMagic would “hung” occasionally, making it difficult to pin-point the issue. With the Profiler, it would hang every time I ran it, so I was able to quickly find the issue in the real-time log.

I have raised a ticket with the developer of the plugin. I don’t think the problem is specific to the profiler. I’ll update when I have more info.

I think I have found the offending: RegistrationMagic.

The “Paypal for Woocommerce” plugin seems to be interfering.

My site is not multisite. Its a stand-alone Woocommerce site.

I have purged the caches multiple times via “Purge all caches”, but also manually on my host. The problem persists.

Clicking on General Settings does not take me to the actual General Settings page. It takes me to the page I attached in my first post.

I have individually disabled several plugins in case they are clashing, but had to positive results yet. I will continue my effort tomorrow.

In the mean time, is there anything else you can suggest?

I have looked into that too.

I am testing on my staging site, with most plugins disabled (only essentials, like LearnDash and BuddyBoss Theme enabled).

My hosting is a dedicated VM at Cloudways, with 8GB RAM (around 4GB used) and 120 GB disk space (around 60GB free). CPU load is around 50% – 60%.

I am using “Opcode:Alternative PHP Cache”, though I have tried the other alternatives.

I checked the log with name”apache_woocommerce-204613-869440.cloudwaysapps.com.error.log”

Here are the last three lines after I enabled Page Cached and saved the setting:
