If anyone wants to add a sidebar slideshow (widget), download the JJ NextGen JQuery Cycle.

It is also very smart phone/tablet friendly. No flash is needed.

Thank you for your help. I actually found a plug-in called JJ NextGen JQuery Cycle. My sildeshow widget now works. If anyone else is having this problem, please use JJ NextGen JQuery Cycle.

The NextGen specs indicates “Slideshow : Full integrated slideshow as jQuery or Flash solution”

How do you select the JQuery slideshow instead of the Flash?

Thank you for your help. I checked all the files within the WP folder and there was no error.log file.

Is there anything else I can do?

Maybe last resort, create a new data base and install WP fresh. If I do this, how can I get access and copy the current page content before doing this?

Hello, I get the same problem. I’m running on WP 3.0.3. When I try to upload and during the upload process, every image that it is attempting to upload displays the following error message “ERROR HTTP ERROR : the file name : 500.

After that, at the top of the screen is says that the gallery displays no images and no images were uploaded.

One more question, Is there an option to remove the “slideshow” option? It doesn’t seem to work.

I used [album id=2]. Do I add template=compact to the code, eg. [album id=2 template=compact]?

Thank you for your help. However, I don’t know how and where to create a child theme.

I was able to remove “Posted on date and by admin by placing a php comment in the following code located in loop.php:

<?php /*?><div class=”entry-meta”>
<?php twentyten_posted_on(); ?>
</div><!– .entry-meta –><?php */?>

However, I can’t find the one that removes the Posted in and Leave a comment.

I forgot to mention that I have also created a div for the sidebar
