Hi Gamicord,

FV Player is a video player and not a theme. Social sharing, subtitles, text overlay, video time stamps, FV Player supports all of those features. Our documentation is here: https://foliovision.com/player

Unfortunately we do not support user uploads in FV Player as that would require a huge amount of server side code to be done securely. We have customers who have enabled user uploads but only with considerable custom development to suit their particular use instance.

For YouTube videos, the remove logo option must be disabled for Firefox Picture in Picture to work.

The picture in picture feature works with FV Player. It is only purposefully disabled for videos using the DRM Text feature, in order to counter screen capturing.

That being said, I tested it out and noticed that the feature doesn’t work for YouTube videos either. We will look into it.

Are you using YouTube videos? Are you using the DRM Text feature? Does Picture in Picture work for you with videos from other sources and without DRM Text?

The manual setting of quality has been removed from YouTube API on October 24th 2019.

“> The documentation has been updated to reflect the fact that the API no longer supports functions for setting or retrieving playback quality. As explained in this YouTube Help Center article, to give you the best viewing experience, YouTube adjusts the quality of your video stream based on your viewing conditions.

> The getPlaybackQuality, setPlaybackQuality, and getAvailableQualityLevels functions are no longer supported. In particular, calls to setPlaybackQuality will be no-op functions, meaning they will not actually have any impact on the viewer’s playback experience.”
