Thanks so much for your reply. I knew it was a setting somehwere but just couldn’t find it again. And I looked through all the settings a few times.

Unchecking this box worked:

Show Ad listings on main page If unchecked only categories will be displayed

Doesn’t seem to work for me. I have this in /themes/pinnacle/templates/comments.php now:

Interesting, I didn’t have the direct Facebook commneting enabled and that seems to work fine now. There is an additional part where you can use other social login ID’s like Google+ / Twitter and comment in the standard WP comment box. And that part is working fine with other themes but not in Pinnacle/Virtue.

Thanks, that works great and is showing the page numbers now. The number of posts on the home page is 10 and I can’t find a setting to change this. ANy thoughts?

I updated my first post with the website address. But I think I figured out what the problem was. When I first tried the FB login, I disabled the sharing of my email address. With subsequent logins, it didn’t show the FB login box anymore so that’s probably why it insisted on a different email address. i think it all works as it is supposed to.

There were network problems with our site all day but looks like it works again.

I thought the Twenty Eleven and Twenty Twelve themes are the standard WP themes and it is happening with those as well. I can’t imagine my site is any different when using the standard WP theme so perhaps others may have the same problem.
