Same with me. Facebook an Google+-sharing uses the default OG-information of the page – not the selected text. That seems to be natural as facebook caches the OG-information. So the solution might be, that the selected quote is put to the additional post-text. We are hungry for an update solving this issue and will happily donate if it is working ??
