Hi there
I realised the error I had made, I had created the employee first and not the department.
I see that you can add a department and later assign an employee to the department.
This feature is available within the employee page based near to the bottom right of the screen.Thank you.

In reply to: [WP Human Resource Management] Installation errorHi There
Seems that I have the exact same issue.
I installed WP HRM from inside my wordpress site and after I tried activating the plugin I was presented with the same error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘include’ (T_INCLUDE), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in C:\wamp64\www\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\hrm\hrm.php on line 73.
Thank you.
Hi there
Pleased to say BM is working!
After setting up a new local environment, I ran PHP > 5.6.
@jtsternberg; thank you for the information provided.
@bzmngr; I believe this is what the issue was.Thank you.
I have not tired on a live site as I have been observing wordpress plugins for a potential solution. I was going to consider rebuilding a clean environment and try again. I too thought another plugin could have conflicted with Business Manager, but only a thought.
Thank you for getting back to me!
Hi there
I seem to be presented with the following error:
Fatal error: Declaration of CMB2_Type_Text_Date::render() must be compatible with CMB2_Type_Text::render($args = Array) in C:\xampp\apps\wordpress\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\business-manager\includes\lib\cmb2\includes\types\CMB2_Type_Text_Date.php on line 13I am not sure if you have experienced this before?
Thank you.
