Hi there.
I agree the feed provided does validate. I am clueless about why the feed does not work with an rss-based newsletter. Unless there is some other syntax used, it just might be Mailchimp that doesn’t like your job feed and I need to have them look into this.
Hi there. Sorry for the delay in responding. I continued to do some testing with various iterations. What I think should work does not:
https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&job_categories=ga4arts
or
https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&job_categories=member
To capture all job types, this feed does work:
If you’re familiar with Mailchimp, my full merge code is:
*|FEEDBLOCK:https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&job_categories=ga4arts|* *|FEEDITEMS:[$count=10]|*
Thoughts?
I appreciate the help.
FEED IS CURRENTLY PULLING ALL JOBS FEATURED OR NOT
https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&featured=true/FEED CURRENTLY PULLING ALL JOBS (THIS IS WHAT I WANT, BUT IT SEEMS TEDIOUS WHEN I SHOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO USE THE CATEGORY.)
https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&job_types=freelance%2Cfull-time%2Cinternship%2Cpart-time%2Ctemporary%2Cvolunteer/I have all the default job types, and I only have two categories.
FEEDS THAT DO NOT WORK
https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&featured=false/
https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&job_categories=member/Also, I am having challenges with reassigning job types and categories. I can add a type, but I can’t delete a type or category. On the job post itself, too, the available categories also never show. I’m not sure if this is a bug or something that I’m just not understanding.
Let me know your thoughts. Gratitude.

In reply to: [Go Fetch Jobs (for WP Job Manager)] Viewing all feeds, moving a single feedI appreciate the response. Sorry for the delay, but I think I missed the response email that was sent.
My question and your response helped. What I did not understand is that the three fields (load saved template, job providers, rss feed URL are three independent options to select. Once I add an rss feed to import, I then set all the parameters and name a template for this one feed. Afterward, I can go back and select that particular template to edit or delete.
What threw me was my perspective of a template. I interpreted it as a template to display all rss feeds that use that template.
Also, in the documentation that I was reading related to this, there was nothing that I could find that helped me understand this.
Regardless, I think I am now set to go. I’m still testing the plug-in (free version) to see how useful it is with my needs. I am finding, unfortunately, that my fondness for RSS feeds is not shared with my industry.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] AnalyticsThis should be the final entry to this thread.
As mentioned iTheme was causing problems so the Analytics feature would not properly show.
Two other issues I was having were related to WP RSS Aggregator and Google’s Site Kit, which were both reporting an invalid JSON response. JSON was the problem.
I got lucky with some research when going the Site Kit research route and found that in iTheme, you need to:
1. Log into your WordPress admin page.
2. Go to the iThemes configuration page (Security > Settings).
3. Click on the System Tweaks option.
4. Look for the Long URL Strings option.
5. Uncheck the Filter Long URL Strings option.
6. Click on Save Settings.`After this tweak, all plugins and the Analytics were displaying properly.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] AnalyticsProviding an update on this. I found that my iThemes security plugin was the plugin that was causing the problem. Deactivated the analytics/marketing data was displayed.
I’ll look for an update with either plugin before committing to removing iThemes and finding a new security plugin.
However, given the number of users of the iThemes plugin, I wonder if there would be a workaround or a fix that might be available.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] AnalyticsI appreciate checking in about this. Yes, I still have the issue and given the situation a support ticket has been created. I hope to see the outcome soon.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] AnalyticsOkay. I got halfway with your solutions. By default, it seemed, all the statuses were excluded. All fixed on the Overview page.
However on the various detail pages, while some data is available they all have a nice big purple icon with “There was an error getting your stats. Please try again.” I can work through the other steps, but this seemed to be a different issue entirely. Please advise.
Hi there.
Just an FYI for the DIYs, it took a bit of experimentation given my lack of knowledge about the PHP and rss feeds, but I found that https://georgiansforthearts.org/feed/?post_type=job_listing was the solution. The aggregator seemed to need more direction and specifics than an RSS reader such as feedly.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Analytics from Woocommerce not showing reportsI’ve installed the Admin plugin and now can get the setting page contents to show, but even after a download of past data, I have no data to show. There are orders, customers, etc., but no data on the analytics page. Is this also part of the problem?
I want to add that while it may be related to the newer version of WordPress that I have narrowed down the causation to perhaps Jetpack. I was doing fine with all my plug-ins deactivated, MailPoet activated, plug-ins reactivated, but when I re-activated the Jetpack connection, the fatal error returns.
Ditto here. I identified MailPoet as the best solution for my needs to replace MailChimp, but was disappointed that my site was crashing when the plugin activated.
If this is resolved quickly, I can move on migrating and test the waters with MailPoet.
FYI: PHP 7.4 & WordPress: 5.7
