I thought this was fixed but it isnt.

Quick background, so i have Cloudflare on my website, works great and caches everything.

As previously mentioned, I set to “bypass cache” with a cache rule for -> /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

While it does work, it seems to be just temporary, as in after 10-12 hours for some reason, i don’t receive anymore emails from it (nor in the WP admin dashboard) (however it shows the green message “Form submitted”). Last night at 22.00 worked, this morning at 08am not working anymore. (nothing changed).

This morning i went to CF dashboard, cleared cache for /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php (just in case), and no change, still no submit.

Then, cleared cache for the entire page only (not the whole site) -> https://www.gabriolinari.com/contact/ and then form works again. So it’s something on the page’s code.

After a few tests, it still works, however i am wondering why after 10-12 hours on cache then it stops working again? Bizarre.

Question

Are there any .php files similar to the ajax i already set to “bypass cache” that i could also bypass? How does the form submit data? What script/etc does it pull up?

I rather not choose to bypass cache for the entire contact page, if possible, however if no solutions avail, i will do that.

BTW you have to enable the checkmark in the tiny drop down menu with the 3 dots (not so obvious), i just seen it by clicking everywhere.

Why don’t you have a searchable FAQ with all topics and requests people are asking? that’s handy ??

i’ve managed it myself ??, create a Cache rule to bypass /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php and it works!

turns out that it’s CloudFlare’s Page rules – if you do enable this

Cache Level: Cache Everything, Edge Cache TTL: a month

Then Solid won’t save settings – i am discussing this with Brent Wilson (StellarWP Support) but in case you can let other team members know.

Standard and not “Cache everything” – now saves correctly.Must say that you can see the difference this way tho, it’s slower.

I think it’s something on the server possibly.

disabled solid, still slow login at times, regardless of 2FA or not, then disabled 2 other security plugins but solid is on which could be conflicting and it’s the same, doesn’t matter. Seems there’s a background process during login.

At first i thought it was only when 2FA is on but it’s not, happens randomly. server load is so low tho, quite strange 4.56, 4.54, 4.57

have no time for this now, asked the host to check, thanks for all your help!

I have just deleted it and re-installed it, it’s just bizarre, it won’t save “some” settings and still slow to login at times. seems some background process is going on.

Anyhow i’ve asked my host about that string, cheers!

There’s something more going on, some settings aren’t saving, etc – i sent their support an enquiry.

Now is super super slow to log in sometimes 30 seconds, if i disable Solid Security it logs instantly.

btw i just went in disabling the security, thanks for links and if you go to the search bar or Solid Security, there’s nothing for “Captcha”, this is a good bug.

honestly i have no idea, no i am not a PRO subscriber and that turned on all of a sudden, perhaps they were just testing?

I just tried to login to my site right now (after a few days) and i get it again!

but then if you reload it after maybe 5 mins, you can login fine.

There’s something going on for sure. How can i contact if i don’t have a PRO sub yet this is happening on my site now?

But then now after working on the admin, i tried to re-login and again bot loop..

Bizarre, all of a sudden worked perfectly and no more captcha bot request.
