i tested that just now and whether i have it enabled or not, what makes a difference if i check

When those are enabled, i have no images on my site.

I left Native Lazy enabled now, i get a bit higher scores on PSI

thank you for the reply – well the thing is that i updated a bunch of other plugins and everything worked OK, with the latest WP version, then when i updated smush the images didnt load.

we also restored a previous backup to a previous state and in fact everything works OK.

But i did some troubleshooting and found the following:

on the Lazy Load settings, i have everything checked and this is what breaks images on my site:

Output Locations
By default we will lazy load all images, but you can refine this to specific media outputs too.

> Content
> Post Thumbnail

I tested it and when you tick these ones (turned on) then images don’t load anymore. The first (content) doesn’t load images on a post while the second one Post Thumbnail doesn’t load images on the homepage. So i disabled them now,

mhmhm well and for me not enough details to provide any further checks on my end, since that plugin does not list where the issues are.

as far as i can tell all HTTPS redirects and checks on HSTS run fine, everything checks off so it’s a false positive to me.

is it going to be automatically integrated in upcoming wordpress release or should i go ahead and do this upgrade? seems a bit of work and testing.

looks like it’s the theme, I switched to the 2020 temporarily and it’s quite fast… what you suggest? any nice free theme for displaying photos with tiled effect?

I gave a go to the rocket lazy load you suggested and actually something weird is happening, just like when I used autoptimize which is also very good by the way, have a look at this :

The scheduled event, wp_privacy_delete_old_export_files, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.

also when I go to cache contents, it’s all empty, even if I visit every single page of the website myself by hand. something is not right.

do I need to tell the plugin that I am on https now?

BTW i noticed that if i use

/%postname% WORKS

/%postname%/ DOES NOT Work and redirects me to the homepage… why?

cheers, I have updated a post changing little text (after doing a good preload of all posts first) and I have the error log from when the operation occurred, can I send it to you?

I have just seen a new update in WP Cache.. did that address the issue of Updating one post need whole cache rebuild again as well as the bug of having to disable Cache rebuild. Serve a supercache file to anonymous users while a new file is being generated. (Recommended)
