Thanks McAsh. Would you mind expanding on specifics? I’m a little nervous about editing the .htaccess file at all and just don’t want to screw this up. Are you saying you removed the file? or you edited something in it? Sorry, this area is not my best. Thanks.

I think it’s just dissapointing that they don’t tell you upfront. It is still “fronting” as a free tool but once you’ve sort of committed you get to the page where the price is a surprise. They can charge whatever they want but they have wasted my time because they lead one to believe it will be free.

AND its not just $39, it’s $39 a month right? I hope I am wrong.

Think I might have it. I have no idea why but the shortcode on my “checkout” page was automatically set as [shoppingcart]. I deleted it, changed it to [woocommerce_checkout] by using the dropdown icon for woo.

My checkout page is not working– all I get is the page with no content and a the shortcode shows up:
Checkout
[EDIT]
[shoppingcart]

But doesn’t do anything.

I’m guessing I didn’t fill out something in the settings but I can’t tell what it is as everything else is working.

Argh! No answers to this? I tried to go into the stylesheet for nextgen (nggallery.css) but I think it’s in the order of the divs on the page itself.

In other words moving this:

I deactivated it and it instantly updated my widgets. Phew. Maybe I’ll turn it back on when I am done with my preliminary setup. Thanks again.

THANK U TINA! This has been sooo frustrating. I change a widget and NOTHING happens. For at least 15 minutes. I am going to try to do something about wp-cache, like stomp it chew it up and spit it out to see if that works, I’m just glad someone else is out there sharing in my frustration. Sorry I don’t have any more information for you.

Still wondering if it’s possible to make the text box not resizable (the lower right corner “tab” that drags to increase size).

I changed the submit button in the custom.css code (using thesis):
