You code did not work quite as i desired (it only moved the picture to the left), so without knowing any code at all, I guessed my way through it using this line

width: 100%;
}

Take a look! it’s just the way I wanted it to look ;)))

I used a mix of both options: changed the widget settings and added the second line of CSS code you have provided.
It works great!… Only one thing: why does single post picture now display slightly narrower than the text? Is there a way to fix it so it keeps in line with the text margins?

Yeah, I considered the option of the video screenshot but I’m kind of fussy and wasn’t quite satisfied.
But the more tag solution is gold.
Now I’m going through my old posts and set the excerpt as I like.
So, problem solved!

Yes and no.
I’ve found out that if I select ‘full post’ in the content section of the appearance settings, then the videos display correctly.
This is not ideal though, as some of my posts tend to be quite lengthy and I’d much rather keep the blog set in the ‘display only the first few lines of each post’ mode.
If i do that though, the videos disappear.
I’ll change the setting now so you can check.
Is there a way to make the videos display in the summary mode?
