Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Installing wordpress in a subdomain from a main domainIs this local or on a live site?. If its example godaddy/hostgator check you have declared those in your cpanel. The stuff Mohamed says is where to start. From experience it looks like you have some values in your configuration or database still pointing back to your old settings. If you are sure all those are okay believe it or not annoyingly it’s good old basics. Clear your browser cache.

In reply to: Update Database ErrorYou will get better help if you copy paste the error removing any sensitive info. Like “Error 404: Cannot access /html/home/example.com/images/ ….folder..does not exist”.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: RSS Feed FailThe site does not seem to have a feed at all or most parsers look like they will fail. If you’ve checked and everything is okay including resetting your install by disabling all plugins, re-enabling one by one – and finally a good clean re-install – and none of those work have a look at this official rss feeds documentation and try the excellent ideas there.
Finally – last resolution would be to use a plugin (not recommended coz wordpress has the functionality so finding out why it’s broken is more important.

Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
You are missing “wp-admin” folder.

In reply to: Website not workingThis is the error at your site.
“The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”
Misconfiguration – check your files, your database connection as well. Look for missing wordpress files or download a new wordpress and update via ftp.
Usually means you have ssl enabled and the 404’s have caught you out.
1. Close tabs and clear cache – especially if you are using chrome and explorer.
2. Delete all cookies and browsing history – you can leave remember passwords if that’s important to you.
3. Log into your backend and find your ip and remove it from the list of blocked ip’s or remove require front end ssl to view site.
1.In your wordpress dashboard go to database backup and reduce the amount of days the backups are kept.
2. Still in your dashboard go to bwps logs and remove all errors tick all and remove all. You don’t need them if you have send error by email enabled.
3. If you have a caching plugin – clear cache.
Just enabled hide back end. Didn’t take security key and now not able to access wp-admin. I have already removed “force ssl” at the backend. Any suggestions to help. Also if I delete BWPS from the backend will that help at all?.
