Hi. I just updated your plugin and activated the Classic Editor. The Uix block now appears as an option in my Gutenberg Editor.

I’ve tracked it down to the Classic Editor plugin. I assume not many people using Uix are using that plugin. I only have it because some contributors prefer it.

If possible to fix this, I’d be very grateful. If not, I’ll use the Classic Block as a workaround.

Ok, tried it on the 2 other WP sites that I’m admin on. It worked on one and not the other.

I will see if I can figure out which plugin is the culprit, and will update this ticket.

Thanks for the reply. I updated to new version (1.7.4). “Add Uix Shortcodes” block option still not showing in Gutenberg. I haven’t had this issue with any other block plugins, so I’m not sure what plugin could be affecting yours.

I also uninstalled and reinstalled Uix just in case. No effect.

No. I still would like to be able to select an image based on size_name instead of width and height (thumb_dimensions).

Appears the issue happens with my custom cropped images (which makes sense, since those are the ones that would be the wrong size), all resized using the Post Thumbnail Editor plugin. It doesn’t add custom sizes, just allows you to crop image sizes individually.

The ‘medium’ size is a default size from WordPress. I am on mobile, and will need to double check, but I’m pretty sure most of the sizes were not working. Not sure if it was only the one with custom sized images (my assumption right now), but I’ll check this and get back on.

Hopefully this will help troubleshoot?

There are no comments. There is a page and a couple of posts. All published successfully. I’ve been putting the comment in the “Trash”.

I’ve disabled the comments on the about page and added a test post, and everything seems okay. Hopefully that resolved it, but it’s still pretty weird!

I’ve used WordPress several times before and never had this happen. Thanks for the help. I’ll reply to this post if it occurs again.

This was an issue with the theme. Mike has since fixed it and the most recent update (4.2) doesn’t have this issue anymore.

I changed the permalinks away and back, and for some reason it’s working now. I have no idea what was going on. Thanks for the help, though. I appreciate it!

Fixed, but I have more/other issues. I tried what you said and it didn’t work, so I deactivated and reactivated the plugin, and that seems to have fixed it.

Thank you! My other issues may or may not actually be from the plugin, but I’m hoping they’re easy fixes.

If you don’t mind answering my other issues here:
-Main page of comic shows the latest page, perfect, no problem there.
-When you click the “back” arrow, it refreshes the page but doesn’t go to the next page back (in other words, it just refreshes the main page).
-if I manually enter (copy/paste) the URL from the editor, it goes back to the webcomic main page
-When you click the “first” arrow to go to the first comic, it goes to the correct URL, but gives a 404 error.

I tried adding an additional new page, same issues but now the latest page shows on the main webcomic page.

Does this sound like a bad WordPress install? Or is this a plugin issue?

I just installed the theme from GitHub, and it just shows the header of my page or a blank page. Anyone else having this issue?

You could try the following:
Create a page, and use the Inkblot Options below the editor to choose “Show the most recently published webcomic”, and choose “Webcomic Homepage” for the Page Attributes.

Then you can set a static homepage as the page you created.

Hope this works.
