What do you mean that it’s unable to access CSS files ? Gantry compiles LESS files into the CSS files and places them in the css-compiled directory inside of the theme. Please make sure that this directory has proper permissions set up.

That’s a proper hook and we use it also and all is fine, so yours also should work just fine. I’m sorry but if you’d like me to investigate it further you’d have to send me your FTP and WP login details so I could try to check what could be the issue.

Sorry about the delay ?? The mechanism of the layouts is the same for WordPress and Joomla so actually the solution i posted above should apply to both – WP has nothing to do here ??

Hi,

Something is crashing Gantry and changing permissions won’t help here. Please try to disable all plugins but Gantry and see if any of them is cause of the issue.

Hi,

Login Button only calls the position Popup to display what has been placed inside of it. Looks like by mistake it has not been included in the Gantry Default theme – I will add it with the next update.

Hi,

In Gantry 4 the only way to achieve this is to use separate widget positions. If you don’t want to use the existing ones you can simply edit the templateDetails.xml and index.php files and add your own *extra* position that would hold either that one grid12 widget or two columns with other widgets.

Well just like I said – Gantry requirements are basicaly standard and all hosts should meet them – there’s nothing ‘funky’ about them so you should be fine here.

RokGallery however is a different thing – it’s more complicated in the way it’s working with database and that’s why it requires some modules that couple hosting companies might not support/have implemented. I’m sorry but we can’t do anything about it.

All of these requirements are going to stay like that so I’d say that if all is working fine right now you should be allright, otherwise you might need to find different host if you want to use the RokGallery.

It all depends what you want to use. RokGallery plugin that you’ve mentioned has different requirements then Gantry itself.

Here are the requirements of Gantry :

And RokGallery requires :

* PHP support for the SQLite PDO driver
* PHP support for the MySQL PDO driver
* MySQL with InnoDB support
* PHP support for PDO
* PHP support for GD2
* PHP 5.2.8 and above

Sorry but there’s nothing we can do about these requirements. These are supported by almost all good hosting providers (and if not they should add the missing bits to your account configuration) so if your’s doesn’t I’d recommend finding a better replacement. Sorry.
