In reply to: Contact FormCould be a lot of things. I would try a different plugin and see what happens. If two or three mailer plugins all don’t work, then you’ll have a better idea of what’s wrong.

In reply to: Login and post with one formWell if you’re looking to simplify the posting process, there are a number of options. It depends on what you need this for: to make your posting easier, allow other people to post, etc.
For easy posting without having to visit your blog, you could try the Deepest Sender Firefox extension (if you have Firefox).
Or you could setup post-via-email in Options->Writing
Or you could install the TDO Mini-Forms plugin from thedeadone.net. That plugin allows you to put a configurable form on a “page” (as in, wordpress-style “Page”) that allows anyone to write posts directly to your blog. You can set those posts to automatically publish, or go to draft status instead. If you just want it for yourself, then password protect the “page”.

In reply to: Main Index Template not editable! That’s correct, but you mentioned that you’re using a wsywig… so I thought maybe you were saving the new index.php to your computer and not to the server.
Okay, let’s put it differently: if you edit the index.php from within wordpress’s built-in theme editor, and save, does it still refuse to show your changes?

In reply to: Main Index Template not editable!Perhaps you’re not saving the new index.php into the right place?

In reply to: Can You Indentify This Plugin?Let me clarify… that’s usually done in the templates. However, a plugin could do that too.
Take a look through some popular wordpress template sites and eventually you’ll come across several templates that have that date graphic thing.
