Thanks, I sent you the files. As an update, I found a setting that seems to be causing the issue: On the Rotating Images settings, there’s a checkbox for making the slideshow responsive. I had this checked and the slideshows (2nd, 3rd and subsequent tabs) wouldn’t show). When I unchecked this setting, the slideshows now appear.
So I’ve solved the immediate problem. I should note that with this setting turned off, the slideshows don’t appear on smartphone screens until you scroll down and back up again (tested on iPhone/Safari and iPhone/Chrome). So clearly something is still amiss. On desktop, the page looks correct (slideshow showing up when you go to the tab).
The DisplayBuddy plugin is called Rotating Images and is from iThemes.com. The theme is called Builder, and the child theme is called Expansion (both also from iThemes.com). These are premium plugins (not free), so there is no download link (you have have an active subscription to download it). Do you have a way for me to send the plugin files to you?
Thanks Deepak, but I already did that. The only plugin that affects anything is the slideshow plugin that I need to use (iThemes’ DisplayBuddy). DisplayBuddy works fine on a near-identical site (https://lewmontessori.school) with your plugin, but doesn’t on https://2018.countrydaymontessorischool.com with the same set of plugins.
As a followup, I have another site https://lewmontessori.school with the same theme and same set of plugins, but the slideshows work just fine. Setup almost exactly the same as https://2018.countrydaymontessorischool.com.
Hello, I’m having a similar problem. I am using iThemes DisplayBuddy Rotating Images to create a slideshow of images. That plugin gives me a shortcode to place on a page, which I’ve done at https://2018.countrydaymontessorischool.com/programs/ on the Infant tab (Tabs Responsive). Nothing shows on that page unless I use the Chrome “Inspect” in which case the slideshow appears on the page until I refresh the page.
I can add a shortcode to the first tab of a page and it works fine. But I can’t add a shortcode to 2nd, 3rd, or any other tabs on that page, they don’t display (without using the browser’s Inspect mode).
I also use the Tablepress plugin and that generates shortcodes which display just fine on any of the tabs.
I’m not running Rocket Loader. I am using an iThemes Builder child theme, and have other plugins. Deactivated them one by one and the issue didn’t change, so the only plugin that could be causing the conflict is the iThemes DisplayBuddy Rotating Images plugin which I need to do slideshows.
Can you please help?

In reply to: [Text Hover] Text hover update for wordpress 4.7.1I have it working just fine on 4.7.2 and it worked all the way back since I first installed perhaps 8 months ago. It’s possible that there’s a conflict with another plugin you’ve got, you could try deactivating a plugin at a time to check and see.
Also, it’s possible that the problem is not with your site or the plugin, but with your browser settings. If you post the URL to your blog I can look at it and confirm if I can see the tooltips or not.
Thanks Eli, but I had other data in the other tables, and didn’t want to lose anything else from post or other edits after the backup. It was easier for me to just recreate the events. I’ve also cleared out the extra entries in phpmyadmin that were showing on the wp_ai1ec_events and wp_ai1ec_event_instances tables, so now I should be all good to go. If this ever happens again I’ll be sure to save a backup before I update plugins so I don’t have to worry about in-between edits. Thanks for your help!
Thanks! Ok, using phpmyadmin I know I can’t import an existing table if there’s already one there, so I first deleted the existing tables wp_ai1ec_events and wp_ai1ec_event_instances. Then I imported the two sql files of the same name from my backup.
So now in phpmyadmin I show the tables populated with my events, yay!
Unfortunately, when I look in the WP control panel All Events it’s still showing nothing. Did I miss a step?
Btw, thanks for your help Eli!
Ok, I have a backup of the sql tables, can I import them into the sql database or did you change the database structure?
After uninstalling the bad 2.5.0 version and installing the stable 2.4.1 version, all my events disappeared. I’ve now installed 2.5.2 and it seems to work ok, but my events are all gone. I am pissed! Do I have to reload all my events from scratch?
Updated to 2.5 and it crashed every client site I updated. Had to rename the plugin directory and then install version 2.4.1 to restore site and plugin functionality. The 2.5 update should be pulled immediately until the dev fixes the problem.
myersjdo, if you want the list to have each item on one line and you don’t want to use an unordered list (which puts a bullet in front) as wpshopsmart described, you can just put a linebreak after each item, so…
red<br> green<br> blue<br> orange<br>
Add a second
<br>
if you want a blank line in-between each. If you want the list indented from the rest of the text, you can put them in a blockquote:<blockquote > red<br> green<br> blue<br> orange<br> </blockquote>
And tmplast, the tab description is not in a post or page, but in the Tab Responsive menu within a particular tab group. Each tab has a Tab Title, a Tab Description, and a Tab Icon. The Tab Description field is where you want the content of the tab to go.
I’m having the same problem, and am patiently waiting for the update that will fix it (thanks wpshopmart!). Until then I’m using this workaround method:
- I create a draft page in WP and use the built-in visual editor to get everything looking right for the tab I want to create/use.
- I then copy everything in that visual editor window, open the tab’s WYSIWYG editor and paste it in.
- Click the Text button, then the Insert Code into Description button and finally click the Update button for the tab group.
If I need to edit the content of a tab, I first go to the draft page and make the edits there, then repeat the above steps. This way I don’t have to deal with html coding and can do it all visually (except for tables and other elements that the WP Editor doesn’t do well).

In reply to: [WordPress Online Booking and Scheduling Plugin – Bookly] not workinghttps://www.positek.net/appointments/ is the booking page (not on the menu yet). I’m trying this plug-in out for appointments, and will purchase the plug-in if I can get it to work on my website.
