Thanks caimin_nwl,
I’m considering upgrading WP but, as I already wrote, I need to plan a long activity of non-regression test because of plenty of plugin installed.
I hope to make the site work until December next.I’ll let you know
Someone knows about limitations applied to the community version of the plugin?
One of the attempt made to recover the situation was to ‘truncate’ the data tables but I’m sure that the first event involved in the failures had the EVENT.ID > 100…
All the events beyond the ID 100 worked regularly…Any idea?
Hi Jordan,
I don’t mind it’s a matter of plugin itself or templates or whatever: The whole site, including event manager, run with absolutely no technical maintenance since 2013.
I set it up for my team-mates (it’s my rugby team’s site) and nothing happened until Sep 29, 2017.
Suddenly the plugin stopped working…
I’m trying to debug the entire WP installation to check if something, not wp related, happened in the server.
I’ll let you know

In reply to: [WP Survey And Quiz Tool] no radio type in survey questions?Hi @jircas,
the ‘trick’ works well during the ‘collection’ phase of the survey but makes the pages related to the results very unstable and sometimes faulty…
Any other suggestion?Thanks

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Subscribed users not getting emails — HELP!Karen, try this…
Install a plugin that can change the behaviour of the wp_mail system: The standard method is the standard php_mail() but seems that some kind of email, sent via this method, are blocked by some providers. I checked my wp-mail log and I noticed this kind of failure.
So:
1) I created an email account to be used by wordpress to send email
2) I installed the wp-smtp-mail plugin and configured the access to this account (smtp mail server address, account and password like in configuring thunderbird)
3) I tried again (all the wordpress email functions) and it seems to workI hope this helps…

In reply to: [Mingle Forum] Subscribed users not getting emails — HELP!So…
it seems like I’m not the only one. I submitted the same request directly to the developer but, by his answer, I thought I was the only one to intercept this issue…
I’ve been told that mingle forum uses the same wp email mechanism and that this issue has never been reported before.
The developer suggests to check the email log to search for any kind of condition that blocks the mingle forum emails.
I’m going to perform this check.bye
Thanks a lot pvwylick,
exactly what I needed…I think I need more practice in customizing the event-manager…
Bye
Hi pvwylick,
could you please share details of your solution?
I mean:
– What kind of ‘new page’? Just a new wordpress page in the page-menu or a page ‘declared’ to the plugin via an option?
– What kind of placeholder?I have the same need…
Thanks a lot
