Hey Peter.
Its not really a bother as i was getting used to it. Just would like future newly created pages and products to not carry over the old keywords. No biggie, just wanted to make sure you were aware of this as it might bother others and seems unprofessional.
So is it safe to say that this will not work for existing duplicated pages, but will work for any future duplicate pages as i am still unable to delete keywords from previously duplicated urls, however any new pages or products i duplicate, the existing keywords are all removed.
Hi there.
So i basically cleared cache from sucuri, cloudflare, browser and then disabled all plugins and enabled one by one and it was back to normal. no plugin culprit, but probably a cache issue of some sort. i printed out your reply and will keep it at my workstation for further troubleshooting if an issue of this natures happens again. Much appreciated!
i guess what I’m asking is if we disable hide my wp ghost, will it affect our site in any way, or we can switch on and off as needed and no issues? If there would be no issues, I can try and disable and see if we can setup staging. I’m assuming site ground is looking for WordPress in the headers or something and not recognizing the site and therefore not allowing us to proceed with staging.

In reply to: [WP Ghost (Hide My WP Ghost) - Security & Firewall] Do i need to be worried? Also is there a way to change path name from ghost-login to something else customized like our-login? Im sure hackers are learning your plugin and are now searching for the path ghost-login by now

In reply to: [WP Ghost (Hide My WP Ghost) - Security & Firewall] Do i need to be worried?Im confused. I figured out this was a long time customer and a old lady at that. im curious how she would have accessed the ghost login url.
As i fugured, it does not work still. I deactivated the plugin and deleted it. I then deleted the website from cloudflare turnstiles and re-added it. i then reinstalled the latest version 2.3.5 of the plugin and then i setup the site on cloudflare turnstiles and copied the site key and secret key over to the plugin fields and it says Success! Your website is connected to Cloudflare Turnstile. I have it turned on for reset password. when i go to click forgot password, i enter in the username and click reset password and i get the same error again Error:?Cloudflare Turnstile verification failed. There is no cloudflare graphic on reset password page where i need to check a box or anthying.

Hey Peter, thanks for the reply.
The issue started happening right after we had Hide my WP Ghost all setup and has happened every day since when it tries to backup the DB.
I notice this article
https://michaelrigart.be/mysqldump-1044-access-denied-using-lock-tables/I decided to create another user for the database and changed the backup cron to include this new user instead of the other one and then gave full access to this new user.
Will see what happens, does this sound like the correct way to do this?
Also this seems to be a sucuri cron SQL dump, im assuming to backup the database which is a daily thing
Hey Peter. FInally got around to following the instructions in the link you sent for setting up Hide my WP Ghost and all seemed fine until today when i got a sql error as follows
mysqldump: Got error: 1044: “Access denied for user ‘duz6btht_wp50929’@’localhost’ to database ‘duz6btht_wp50929′” when using LOCK TABLES
I assume this has to do with permission for the user of the database but i did follow the permissions in the link you sent.
Any idea’s?Hey Peter,
I tried both wp-admin and ghost url login and both directed to home page. right now i have the plugin folder renamed to deactivate so i can get into the backend. I have since deleted the plugin and i am back at square one now.
I was told by Siteground that all their servers have Set AllowOverride all
They said the following
As a user, you are not allowed access and make changes to the main httpd.conf file on the server. However, the Apache server uses the file .htaccess for local configuration so you can add the directives that you need in your local .htaccess file. But you will not need it specifically for this directive because on our servers this is already set to All –?https://eu.siteground.com/kb/is_it_possible_to_set_apaches_allowoverride_directive_to_all/As pointed out in the above article make sure to deactivate NGINX Direct Delivery –?https://eu.siteground.com/tutorials/supercacher/nginx-direct-delivery/
So my question now is, if we deactivate NGINX, will this impact the speed of our website loading for visitors? We are using Cloudflare currently with Sucuri Firewall.
Siteground has this to say about NGINXNGINX DIRECT DELIVERY
With NGINX Direct Delivery we will serve most of the static resources of your website (images, JS, CSS and others) directly through NGINX to achieve the fastest possible loading time. It works for all kind of applications without additional customisation.
For best results we highly recommend having NGINX Direct Delivery enabled at all times. However, if you need to use custom caching .htaccess rules for your static content you may need to switch it off.

Awesome thanks again Peter. Always great with the support!
