I am noticing the same problem, in WP v3.4. I just posted something for them. I was disappointed when I didn’t see any replies to your post.

Have you ever gotten this resolved? Any thoughts?

I think I got closer with regard to how to reproduce this issue.

When I click on an image to change the link, it’s fine. But if I click the “Unlink” icon in TinyMCE Advanced, it removes the link (as expected).

But .. after I have clicked on the “Unlink” button, and the link is removed, I can no longer use the “Insert/edit Link” button to re-add a new link on an image or photo.

I have disabled all plugins and switched to just using the Twenty Eleven 1.3 theme, and the issue still remains. So, it’s not a plugin conflict (from what I can tell) and it doesn’t have to do with the theme, since I tried it with a “Builder Theme, from iThemes” as well as the standard WordPress Twenty Eleven 1.3 theme.

If I manually go in and add an <a href="whereever"> around the image </a> .. then I am again able to use the “Insert/edit Link” button. But since many of my clients do not know HTML, this is an issue for them.

I am curious if this is a bug that can be fixed or if you feel it is something else that may be on my side of things.

I’d appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, etc. on how to resolve this.

Can someone help me with a simple question.

Is there a way, with this shortcode plugin, to create my own shortcodes? If so, where and how is this done, I just don’t see it.

Thanks for the input. I actually did my own evaluation and chose TinyMCE Advanced. This (for my preference) seemed best. ?? Gary

So, if I set up a user as a Contibutor, that looks like it will solve my issue of someone being able to publish a page. Cool.

Now, after they publish a page, I can use your app to notify specific individuals when pages are updated or modified? (Can you point me to the information that explains exactly how to do this?)

Also, when I look at the Calendar or Story Budget I don’t see any “page” information displayed. I only see posts. When I add a post, it shows up in the calendar and story budget, but when I add or modify a page, nothing shows up. Is it possible to have “page” information show up as well?

By the way, what is meant by Story Budget? I’m just not clear on how or why to use the Story Budget vs the Calendar?

And, is it possible to get the Calendar to display more than just one week of information at a time?

This is something that I would also like to see very much. Seeing the number of visits to the home page (at the top), provides an indication as to how effective our navigation and other items are encouraging visitors to continue onward.

So, I was curious if you added this (and if so, where) as an option .. or if you are going to be adding it any time soon.
