In reply to: [Gutenberg] I disable Gutenberg on every site I launchThe interface, for the new editor, is very challenging to use. Things are hidden and difficult to find. WP had to create many pages (that are difficult to follow) just to try and explain the new editor. There’s no step-by-step explanation as to how to use it. If you had been a long-time user of the previous editor, this new format just makes building a site, accessing and adding menus, etc., etc. a difficult process. I feel that if WordPress wanted to role this out (in one shot as they did with the Twenty Twenty Two theme), which they have been working towards for a long time, they should have done a much better job of it. I’m disappointed in most aspects of the new block editing system they created. Not the block editor itself, but how it is implemented, how the old items were just removed from under appearance, etc. I took lots of screenshots with many notes. But I didn’t want to post them here since that wouldn’t be helpful. I just hope they reconsider this initiative and put more emphasis on how the UI is presented, how they offer the training and documentation for the new editor to the community.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] I disable Gutenberg on every site I launch??
Alan,
Ok. ??
Thank you,
GaryAlan, thanks. Will this send “any emails” that WordPress sends to the “Administration Email Address” (for any reason) to these multiple email addresses? That’s how I read the code. Is that correct? It looks like it’s not necessarily specific to just this one issue of “Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue”. Am I correct in my assumption?

In reply to: [Check Conflicts] I was working with this plugin and got a fatal error.FYI. I just added the plugin back into the website after deleting the option entry in the database, and that fixed the issue. Thanks. (Not sure why it gave the issue in the first place, but removing the option row in the database allowed me to try it again.) *smile*

In reply to: [Check Conflicts] I was working with this plugin and got a fatal error.Thank you so much for your quick reply. This is exactly what I needed to know.
I’ll try the plugin again and see if the problem continues. But I’m suspecting that everything will be fine once I remove the option in the database. ?? If not, I’ll let you know.
Cheers,

Can you please provide me with an email address that I can email you at, to send you the domain? It’s not for public display so I don’t want to post it here. Please let me know. – Gary
Thank you for the fix!!
Thanks!!
I was just curious, when you said “The plugin author said in another post he was on vacation and would look at it in a week.” where did he post this, and why do you think he didn’t post it here? I was just curious if you know.
Gary
