Thank you VERY much. I found the issue was related to iThemes Security Pro plugin. The issue was due to this feature which I had enabled:

Filter Long URL Strings
Limits the number of characters that can be sent in the URL. Hackers often take advantage of long URLs to try to inject information into your database.

I’m concerned to disable this based on their statement. Is there any way around this so I can leave it enabled? But currently, with it enabled, your plugin doesn’t work.

Any thoughts? I just curious what you might suggest.

Thank you for all of your help with this. I was also running into the same issue and your “quick fix” to turn the no-conflict mode to “off” fixed the problem. I am hoping you can resolve this in your upcoming release so it will work with this when the no-conflict mode is set to “on” or “off”. But I sincerely thank you for your help and quick attention to it. ??

Aakash, Thanks. Not sure why this would be since I am set up as an administrator with User Role Editor Pro. I’ll ask them as well. But it seems odd since I have full permissions with the URE Pro plugin. If you have any other thoughts, please let me know.

No worries. I am very happy that you replied. Since it wasn’t an urgent issue, the response time was perfect.

I was considering your premium upgrade, but I was really hoping, after I tested the free version, that this functionality would be possible. I don’t suppose this functionality will be added at any time in the somewhat near future, might it??? I’m guessing the answer will be no.

When you said “But, the Insert shortcode tool remembers the last used settings and loads them when you’re trying to insert the shortcode next time.” Does it remember the shortcode settings for every shortcode used, on every page, etc.? Is this based on my browser’s cookies (hopefully not, but I just wanted to ask how it remembers this)?? If so, that should work. I’ll have to test this.

Same thing. Not sure why the developer would prevent someone from purchasing the premium version. Seems odd.
