Let’s say we have four categories. Each post has a custom meta ‘colour’.
Displaying these posts based on their color value in the front end is easy with a custom meta query.
What I want to do is to use your plugin to let the editor to manually sort the posts of each meta value as he would with a certain category.
I know there is an option to enable on your plugin the ability to sort posts based on their tags. I’m asking if there is a way to sort them based on a meta field value.
I apologise if my description makes it sound more complicated than it actually is.

I know about custom queries. I have no issues displaying and ordering on the front end.
But I need the functionality of your plugin to let the user decide the order of the posts that have this meta field value and are on variable categories.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. What I want is if I can have the option, instead of choosing a category to use the manual sort, to use a custom field to sort the posts that have this field’s value

Thank you for your reply. I understand that. Even though it isn’t such customized, since it’s the basic underscores theme with some minor alternations on the Jetpack Inf Scroll call.
But I respect that.
Could you please just tell me if there are issues with a localhost environment affecting the Inf Scroll in any way?

Just did a full reconnection (removed WordPress connection from Facebook settings too).
As far as I remember there were three options that needed to be checked when you give access to WordPress. Now there were only two (Manage your pages and Publish to your pages).

The site has about 30-40k views per day and the social share buttons are set to display on every post (more than 50k posts).
I think the problem is solved now. With your advice i moved the social share count to 1hr (from 10 mins).
The FB APP still rises rapidly but not at its limits.
I’ll keep an eye on it for now.

What i found is that the Facebook App is reaching it’s limits too quickly (within 90 minutes gr:get:URL 6812). This is why the like counts stop showing up.
Is there a way to prevent this? Is it logical that the limit is reached so fast?
Can it be increased somehow?

The counting is unstable. Sometimes shows up correct count, sometimes shows no count at all.
Could you please take a look?

Seems I fixed it by changing php setting to FastCGI and clearing cache.
I’ll keep an eye on it.

Unfortunately the connection is successful, but all we get is blank posts. No title or image.
So they are still working on it…
