In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Importing Box Score questionI’ve used the import feature before. As log as your column names line up with the heading names in your boxscore, the info should be import fine. BUT, I’ve never used it for when offense/defense are split …. so I experimented.
I used 1 sheet with both O and D stats. The offensive stats went in without a problem. The defensive stats get messed up. You will probably have to use 2 separate sheets – 1 for O and 1 for D.
Hope that helps.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Lost StatsThis feature is not just for display purposes. It plays a role in event editing as well. When you switch to off/def you will probably have to reselect team players for ALL events – on both OFF and DEF.
Make the switch and then edit one of you events to confirm player selection.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Player Statistics not updatingYou have to make sure that each player has those particular seasons check off as well.
If you edit one of those players, in the statistics area, you will need to select the team they are playing for for any given season as well as placing a check mark next to the seasons that you wish to display. Save that player and then view them.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Date range off since new yearIt happens when using both widget and shortcode.
WP 4.9.1, SP 2.5.4, PHP 5.4.45, using Weaver II themeIf I hardcode the date range to the specific dates of a week, then it works, but labels like “this week”, “next week” and “last week” are all off by 1 week.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Display the specific informationSportsPress will be able to do all of that with ease. On the edit screen for each entity that you create (league table, team, player list, etc), a short code will be listed there that you can copy and paste to wherever you need it to go.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Bonus PointYou would create an Event Result called “Bonus” (or something like that). Then when you enter an event result you’ll have a second box called “Bonus” to enter 1 into.
From there, I don’t know what you would want to do with it, but it would now be available as a calculation variable for your league table (for example).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] League Table Not DisplayingHave you installed any new plugins?
Roch is going to have you disable all plugins except Sportspress to see if that solves it.
Maybe your permalinks got messed up somehow?I doesn’t look like a Player Performance variable created with an equation shows up at all in the event Box Score. If I change the variable from Equation to Number, it will show up.
You may need to create your “Series” variable under “Player Statistics” instead of “Player Performance”. Since it is a calculated field, there’s no need to enter any data. It should be calculated for you.
I think Themeboy needs to flesh out what the role is of an equation variable in Player Performance and make it work properly – or remove it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Scoreboard in the headerSportspress are going to say they can’t answer your question here, but I don’t work for them. :>
Yes, it is possible to add it to your header.
You will need to create a calendar with a scoreboard layout.
Your theme also has to support placing a widget in the header area.Sportspress needs to work on improving this IMHO. I’d prefer to use abbreviated team names in the scoreboard (and widget league tables), but if I turn that on, it applies globally.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Team League TablesSure you can. Same theory applies.
Modify the slug for each season. The lower the number, the closer to the top it will be.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Team League TablesNo need for another plugin.
Each league table has an “order” associated with it. The lower the number, the closer to the top the table will be.
If you have tables 2015, 2016 and 2017. If you give 2017 an order of 0; 2016 an order of 5; and 2015 an order of 10 – tables will show up in this order 2017, 2016, 2015I worked around it by setting the events to ‘private’.
There is nothing in the Countdown widget to select only “Published” events. I can either choose “Auto” or a specific event.
