@kyle, did you have to have 2 sets of data, or did the plugin use the Sportspress data you already had?

You need to set sorting priorities. If you go into SportsPress -> Configure -> Table Columns, what do have listed under “sort order”?
Most leagues also have a point system (3 for win, 2 for tie, 1 for loss, etc).
If you had that setup with a sort order of 1 descending, then your 2-0 team would be ahead of your 1-0 team.

I guess to make it as generic as possible, have it be an option when creating a league table or event calendar. That gives the user the most flexibility.

Haybe I’ll put this in the idea space.

What you do is create a calendar list and in the status field, choose “published”. That will only show the events that have been played.

@kyle … how did you display the scores banner across the top? A lot of people have been asking for this.

That won’t be a problem. The SportsPress term for it is a ‘competition’. Each competition you set up can be a seperate league. Once those are setup, each of your teams, players, scheds and standings can be placed in seperate competitions.

Most definitely. Set them up as 2 different competitions. When you add players and teams, you can assign them to the competition (i.e. league) they need to be in.

Yup. Free. I’m pushing the league owner to go Pro (for the tournament brackets). We’ll see.
The divisions are actually 3 seperate competitions within the same season.

I’m really happy with it so far.

All I ended up doing was changing the SportsPress “events” permalink to something else. Works great now.

“The Events Calendar” by Modern Tribe is the plugin that is the issue.

When I set it to postname and then reload the page, the event link looks like this:

still giving me a 404 error.
