Thank you, Luis. I will work on that today.

Please ignore this request. I have decided to find another way around it. Thanks anyway.

Hi again George and Robert, I should have waited yesterday before changing things but I had received a reply from the theme support and their solution did not work so I accepted defeat. I changed it back and tried what you said but that also did not work. I then suddenly noticed that breadcrumbs were still active in the beef site whereas I had deleted them in the wagra site. I deleted them from the files and suddenly the css is working fine. I am sorry I wasted your time. I really appreciate your help.

Thank you both for these replies. Very much appreciated. Yes, I did eventually temporarily change things to a drop-down submenu ( and finally to a “logged in only”) to get through the day; but I will get back to it tomorrow and fully check out your advice. Again, very much appreciated; thank you.

Thanks for explaining that, danieliser. In that case, it might have been because of something I was doing. I will finalise everything else and then try your plugin again.

    Hi danieliser,
Obviously, I am not the person above but I did want to answer your question. The persistent “Give me 5 stars” notice is incredibly annoying, especially when other plugins are doing it too and I have to try to get them out of way. It doesn’t matter how many times I click the “I already did” it keeps showing up. So I am going to deactivate it and try another way. Thanks for all your hard work. Some of the other plugins I have managed to find the entry either in the database or the functions, but I am running out of time.

Then I’m sorry for that. It was a bit of a temper tantrum and if there were any way of doing so I would delete them. Will WP delete them?

Sorry if I have offended you guys, I really am. But I have had absolute headaches for a few months trying to overcome the problem of Russian robots crowding my resources. I even had to upgrade my hosting account at a greater cost. And all that time I had the plugins running. No, they were not conflicting, I had each one on a different site, trying to find one that worked. I was shocked when I started using Cloudfare and saw it successfully block the robots (700 blocks in 13 days). I don’t work for Cloudfare, I am just frustrated and wanted something that works. Jeff, I am presuming you are referring to Blackhole. It might have been good if there was any way of manually adding robots to it. It did catch one, an Australian government one, and that’s cool; I didn’t know it existed. But it didn’t catch the ones that Cloudfare caught, mainly the one that attempted to access my login page hundreds of times. You whitelist Yandex (which I removed from your whitelist), yet Yandex is the one trying to get to the login. Why would a robot need to access the login? It can’t be for anything worth whitelisting. And even after removing it from the whitelist, Blackhole didn’t stop it. I am merely pointing out the truth here.

    Hi Alessandro,
The theme is Kontrast. I could have overcome it by moving the Posterno menu to the subheader location and rebuilding the main menu, but I just thought it was a bit strange that it totally removed all the links from the main menu and I had to put them back in. It definitely could have been fixed in the end but I had too many other things to think about at the time.

Thanks Jeroen, I have actually decided to change plugins instead. I sort of want the bootstrap, but I want to be able to control it. I appreciate your quick advice though.

Sorry Pascal, But I have had IQ running for a few months. I have had Cloudfare running for 2 days.

    Hi Samuel,
Just reading your reply above where you say the code will stay as you type it. This is exactly why I have come to the forum today — it doesn’t. I use WP mainly for the convenience of the plugins, but I do most of my pages/posts in html. I’ve been using Classic Editor but decided to give the Block a go. If you try to add a <div> around what you’ve already written (because you want to give it a border or whatever) it insists on putting the </div> after it. Every time you remove that </div> and put it at the end of what you’ve written, Block just puts it back again. I wouldn’t mind getting used to Block for the future, but can you tell me how to get around that problem?

Hi zviryatko, I changed the version number of that css file too. I made it 91. instead of 1. I hope this saves me from any updates. If something happens later I will have to see to it then. Unfortunately I can’t find an alternative plugin and I really don’t want to have to go back to writing my own menus.

It’s okay, I fixed it by adding a couple of lines to the menu-image.css of the plugin itself. I added display:inline; and float:left.

The plugin appeared to work okay in Firefox, but when I opened the sites in Chrome and IE it was evident that the css was not being picked up. The DevTools Console showed a long list of 404 not founds.
