In reply to: [Slider by 10Web - Responsive Image Slider] Slider not loadingHi Suzie,
That’s because I already swapped for another plugin. Thanks anyway.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Hide & Security Enhancer] Log-in url showing on hoverThanks tdgu,
I saw that AFTER posting here. It sounds like a bit of work I don’t really have time for right now. I will just keep an eye on the sight until I have a bit more spare time to fiddle around with the urls.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg is a forum not an editorI agree with toppahattu. The plugin Classic Editor, though very good for being a plugin, is not quite the old editor. I cannot get it to accept certain things in the html. I write them in but after updating they are gone. I am a little frustrated and feel that I am being ‘forced’ to use Gutenberg, which I will not do. It’s a bit like when Microsoft brought out Windows 10. I fought it for a long, long time but grew tired in the end. Windows 10 is so controlling. But I will not grow tired this time, I will persevere with Classic Editor.
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the reply. Yes it does, but I have slept on it overnight and am going to try temporarily deactivating WF and trying the password reset process to get a better idea of what is going on. Once I know that the other processes are working fine I will retest it with WF and, if necessary, come back for some advice.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: [Testimonial Basics] Clear fields after mouse clickHi Aleksman, Brilliant. I spent so long trying to fiddle those things to disappear until I finally came across your post here. I still couldn’t get it into the actual Testimonial text field so I just removed the label there altogether. But the others are working fine. Thanks so much. However I do notice in the documentation I have seen on the plugin that it shows screenshots of forms with the labels outside the fields. I would love that but it doesn’t seem to be an option. No mind; you have solved my biggest problem.

In reply to: Trojan on my sites on admin screensYes, I have all the same reports from Bitdefender. However it states that it is successfully blocking the particular script, and everything seems to be running okay on the site. Being lazy, I will just wait for someone else to sort it out with Bitdefender (unless it starts giving me trouble). Thanks for all info everyone.

In reply to: WordPress being used in scamThanks leejosepho. I didn’t think to do that as I presumed they would know. But as you say, they might be as much the victim here. I will let them know.

In reply to: WordPress being used in scamThe email return address is [ email redacted ] but of course that goes nowhere so I am not sure who the provider is. I would say it is being emailed directly from the website I mentioned in the first post. Or are you asking who the provider is of the recipients? Do you think we have a leak in the addresses on our providers? Perhaps I will also report it to my provider; and to Trend Micro. Can never go too far in nabbing these scammers. I love the internet community, forums of like-minded people etc. These scammers are rotten smelly apples in the barrel.

In reply to: WordPress being used in scamHmm, a bit complicated. I have found that it is hosted by China Telecom Shanghai, but after a few links here and there it is proving too difficult to find a way to contact them online.
Anyway, I just hope this is a timely warning for all concerned.
That could have been disastrous Zombiekiller. Fortunately, I don’t even have a Westpac bank account, nor am I expecting any contact with the ATO; so it was immediately suspicious to me.
Thanks everyone. We will just have to leave it to Westpac themselves.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ready! Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Product image sizesHi everyone,
This is not really a reply, it is actually a query but not sure where else to put it. I am entering the products into Ready! and the first worked fine (both main image and thumbnail showing as they should). But when I entered the second product, the thumbnail is not showing at all, though the main image is showing fine on product page. Can anyone give me any advice? Thanks in advance.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to turn OFF Automatic updatesThanks for the hint on the config file. Hopefully it has done the trick. I just wanted to say that I find auto updates (no matter what program/app), without controls, is a little arrogant. The user should be given the option first. Otherwise it is a bit like getting home from work to find a stranger in your house who says “I’ve rearranged your cupboards for you.”

In reply to: [Theme My Login] CSS in head of pagesDon’t really want to leave it here, but if you hit the Contact in the menu of the page from this link it will get to me and then I will reply with my private one. https://www.from-the-soul.com/index.php This is not even finished enough to launch yet, setting it up for someone else, but the contact form will get to me. Obviously, tell me its you when you do it.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] CSS in head of pagesNow it’s my turn to say I don’t read carefully. What do you mean ‘limit one per page’? They themselves have multiple sliders on some of their demo pages. Perhaps it depends on which slider you use.
