Changes i make in the child theme css does not reflect.

is your site local or on wordpress.com

your wordpress folder must be in the htdocs folder of your xampp folder.
you can access your website by typing localhost/wordpress in the browser address bar and not by clicking index.php

OK go to your appearance–>menus and make sure your custom home links are correct.

Try this, change your permalinks settings back to the default, save, you will see that your links are now working. You can then change back to post name or whatever you were using before.

Also access your database and make sure from the wp_options table your siteurl and home values are set the way you want them.

Hello this seems to have worked for you, please can you tell me how you gave the absolute path to your swf file. it is showing me the get flash player icon, but i’ve got flash installed. thank you.
