In reply to: [WP STAGING WordPress Backup Plugin - Migration Backup Restore] Keeps loadingHello Rene,
Thanks again for your answer! A little bit more explanation now since I really need to test some things on a staging site.
So, first of all, I did what you asked and enabled WordPress debug mode in wp-config.php and installed Query Monitor.
When running WP Staging, I saw in my 9 PHP warnings and 1 PHP notice that “Wordfence” and “W3 Total Cache” were plugins mentioned. So I deactivated these plugins and tried again: 4 PHP errors and 1 notice left, but not a clue how to fix these errors. So I made this screenshot: https://static.afbeeldinguploaden.nl/1604/159743/JT3YNW54.png
Some more information which may be useful… This (https://goo.gl/tMUcoj) is my website and the exact reason why I want to use WP Staging is because I bought the Standard Package from Canvas (here: https://www.woothemes.com/products/canvas/) because apprently my theme is outdated and I want to update it (and have a year of support).
I hope all of this above is clear. If not, shoot and many thanks in advance already!
Kind regards,

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] What Happens Next? Is It Time To Look For An Alternative?UPDATE:
I’m already in discussion with the admin author. He responded very quickly!
Many thanks also to “lomars” – your description was easy and awesome!
My extensive reaction ??
First of all, many congratulations on this plugin. It’s a new one but very promising and you’re definately building and supporting it the right way!
1) About the page titles in the meta description: I didn’t know that this was a deliberate choice to improve the website ranking. If that’s the case, I have every confidence in you (since I’ve been reading quite a lot posts in this support forum so far). You know what you’re doing, that’s for sure. So you can ignore my question about removing the page title in the meta description.
2) About the sitemap: I have now disabled the Sitemap from The SEO Framework (as you can see here: https://static.afbeeldinguploaden.nl/1601/135874/Fftx82hU.png) – However robots.txt, time stamps and ping are all still checked ? – is that okay? – I installed “Google XML Sitemaps” and get this report: https://static.afbeeldinguploaden.nl/1601/135873/wtA4h2KG.png – in Google Webmaster Tools, they are handling my new Sitemap, but apparently I have to wait for that. Is my sitemap okay like this? This is important for me because I write every day about 7-10 blogposts and want them to show up as fast as possible in the search engines.
3) When I search for my website name “www.xxxxxx.be” (so the ‘xxxxxx’) – I’m first in the results, but I always get very strange page proposals (as you can see here: https://static.afbeeldinguploaden.nl/1601/135870/JM5QVo9Z.png) – my “Partners”-page is for example the least interesting page by far on my website. How can I change this? (Maybe this is because my “Partners”-page is part of my footer?)
4) I came from Yoast and went to SEO Framework with the exact method mentioned below:
“SEO Data Transporter plugin instructions when migrate from Yoast SEO plugin to The SEO Framework:”
— Make a database backup (always).
— Deactivate Yoast SEO plugin.
— Install (but don’t activate yet) The SEO Framework plugin.
— Install and activate SEO Data Transporter plugin.
— In “Tools” admin section select SEO data Transport.
You have 2 drop down menus. You have to:
— Select WordPress SEO in the first one
— Select Genesis in the second one.
— Press on Analyze button.
— Once analyze process is done, press on Convert button.
— You can activate The SEO Framework plugin and deactivate SEO Data Transporter plugin.
That’s all…Now my last question is: how do I know that everything is transferred well? My site seems to work like before, but I don’t know for sure if all my SEO-configurations are stil in tact. You can check my site here: https://goo.gl/WwOV1m – since you’re the expert, maybe you see something wrong quickly that I don’t ?? by the way: I try to make my website as fast as possible, but this is not evident with a newssite with ads like this. I noticed however that disabling Yoast SEO and activating SEO Framework seems to have a positive influence on my website speed. Many many thanks for your ligthweight plugin! To come to an end, I want to delete my disabled Yoast-plugin to have fewer plugins etc, is it safe to do so or do I have to keep it in case something goes wrong with SEO Framework?
Have a very nice weekend and keep up the great work! Soon or late you’ll be rewarded for all this! ??
Quick reply: I have a site with newsupdates every day (about 7-10 newsitems everyday), so for me the sitemap is important I think.
Do you mean that I have to install “Google XML Sitemaps” as plugin?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] What Happens Next? Is It Time To Look For An Alternative?Someone who can help me out please?
First of all: I changed Yoast (rolled back from buggy 3.0.7 to 3.2.5) for The SEO Framework, but have some issues to get everything right.
I think it’s not necessary to show the page title as title, in the link ánd in the meta data, as shown here: https://static.afbeeldinguploaden.nl/1601/135866/3Y3MUq5A.png — my question is: how do I remove the page title in the meta data?
Furthermore, I thought it was necessary to change the sitemap in my Google Webmaster Tools. However, I was surprised to see only 710 indexed pages instead of 1951… As you can see here: https://static.afbeeldinguploaden.nl/1601/135867/1AqfA1VQ.png
I still have Yoast (not activated) as one of my WordPress plugins, so maybe that can solve this problem anyhow?
Please help, since this is quite important! ??
Thanks in advance!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] What Happens Next? Is It Time To Look For An Alternative?Hi all, thanks for this thread.
I’m also planning to leave Yoast. Can anyone please explain in details how I change from Yoast SEO (I moved back to 2.3.5) to The SEO Framework with the SEO Data Transporter? I also use Google Webmaster Tools.
I do have quite a big and important site, so I don’t want anything to go wrong.
Many thanks in advance!
