This plug-in would be more useful if it could show/hide the metadata on a per post basis instead of just a global disable. I suppose it’s useful if your theme doesn’t already support this (most seem to).

This makes registration useless. If we can’t get the new member’s address, city, state, ZIP, phone and other basic info UP FRONT when they register, they won’t bother to give them later. My review is correct. You have to PAY for an add-on to get basic functionality that other membership managers provide up front.

What good is filing a support ticket going to do if there is no way to present those other (hidden) fields without paying for an add-in?

I was able to suppress “required field” text by moving the css code to the main theme’s extra css. It did not work when I had it in the plugin eme.css.

This is what I see when I try to do anything on your e-dynamics site. I tried doing a search of the word “state” in your forum the very first thing and I got this error (without being logged in because I can’t do that either):

I have the same problem. I am the author yet WordPress displays “Published by %S” and not my name. How do I get this to work? Anna’s solution would probably just hide the author. I actually want the author name or nickname to show up.

Thought – Could the theme be doing this? Using Sports Club Lite.

EDIT – Yeah that’s the problem. The theme is doing something wonky.
