That didn’t work. I am thinking it is not with the theme at all but in the admin panel, where it directs to when it links out. When I deactivated the theme I just got a blank page with an 500 error.

@rogierlankhorst will this do anything to my site content? Can I then reapply the theme without it killing any of my content?

@a2hostinglk yes I do have third party pluging. When I changed to maintenance page, I went to themes> appearance, then changed from default to maintenance page. I can’t get in to tell you the exact steps.
I have plugins- the most recent was google analytics.

I did it through the theme. There was the option of a coming soon or a maintenence and I set it to maintenence. It was working just fine for a few days this way, but then the automatic back up happened, I was logged out, and then now I can’t access the admin panel.
