Neither can I. When I try to upload a file it says can’t find folder –> error on line 204 in php file but I can’t figure out why.

Here’s what’s showing on this line:
move_uploaded_file($_FILES["upfile"]["tmp_name"], $downloadsdir.$file_name) or die(__('Can\'t find destination folder','downloads-manager'))

And this messeage “Error… Unable to load download template. Search single-download-template.tpl in your plugin folder!” shows up on my published page where I want to see all the downloads listed.

So I’m using the newest WP 2.5 version. I saw your Plugin through the new Dashboard function and downloaded the latest version from the WP Plugin repository.

As soon as I activated your Plugin I checked the security tab in the backend and changed the file permission of the files which didn’t have a proper setting. When I came back to the tab and did a reload nothing changed…even when I did a log out and logged in again…no changes to the persmission statements…even the actual file were changed.

Going to my front end I figured out that it probably doesn’t work with the Event Calendar Plugin I’m using because the font style was changed and I didn’t do any work on the CSS (the widget I’m using in my sidebar). This also happened with my footer although I don’t see any relation to the Event Calendar Plugin.

I still have your Plugin but deactivated it for the moment because it messes up those to fonts a bit but would really like to have in activated…because it’s good.

Great Plugin, two concerns to mention though.
1. after I changed the file permission it didn’t change on the plugin site in the backend.
2. seems to have a problem with the event calendar plugin and the CSS for my footer. In both cases the font was changed.

I found this forum post about the same problem. Seems there’s general problem for people who use WP in a subdomain (folder) – same thing is true for myself.

I sort of have the same problem. I don’t mind to update them manually thus it would be nice to use the automatic function. Anyone with a solution here?

Yes, you just have to make some changes in your config file because you go from localhost to live. Here some links that will help you.

For the WLW I can’t say anything as I’m not personally using it.

Install your blog locally and do all the testing there and set up a blog online with the following theme (LaunchPad).

Oh..by the way…when I was doing it on my server…I didn’t deactivate any plugins at all. Just run the Maintenance Mode plugin and uploaded my local files to the server.

I really just started from my last running 2.3.3 back-up and did the whole update process again. I did it locally first tough to make sure it’s working. Do you have a local install of your WP?

2nd time I really just made the change in the config file (did you do that?…you need to add a line -> copy and paste)

and then didn’t even delete the files just override with copy and paste…going on with …/wp-admin/upgrade.php to get the DB changes done and voilà…good to go!

I’m going to use iPaper. Just search for iPager plugin for WP and you’ll find everything you need.
