In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Missing field “eventAttendanceMode”Hey @julmasters
Yikes!
We would love to help you with this issue, but alas it looks like you are not using our plugin (you are using EventOn to be precise). For what it’s worth, we don’t have that issue and you can check us out here: https://theeventscalendar.com/
I hope you can get this resolved.
Best,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events plugin doesn’t work after WordPress UpdateHey @siabecks
It looks like the issue is coming from the version of Yoast SEO you are using on your site.
Updating to version 19.3 or above of Yoast should fix the issue.
Let us know how that goes,
GeoffThank you for writing back.
Technically speaking, Polylang is in charge of providing compatibility with our plugin. What I do know is that Polylang Pro is required for The Events Calendar compatibility.
I would recommend reaching out to them about this.Best,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Calendar Automatically UpdatingHey @pmdibello
Thank you for reaching out.
We totally understand and yes, there is something you can do.With that in mind, as WordPress versions continue to update, it is likely that the older version of our plugin will stop working at some point. Fair warning.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Migration to New SystemHey @riverwalkguy
Yikes!
Let’s fix that. You can cancel the migration process using a snippet.
In fact, I would highly recommend reading the totality of that page before trying the migration again.
Let us know how it goes,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 404 on recurring event links (again)Thank you for reaching out.
Yikes! That’s definitely not what we were hoping for. Apologies. In order to fix that properly, I do have a couple of questions.
Just to confirm, you said that flushing the permalinks completely fixed the issue on your end, right?
Can you also tell me if:
- This happened as a result of an auto-update or a manual one?
- There is any form of caching active on your site?
@tfrank77 if you could also answer those questions, that would be super helpful.
Many thanks,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Version 6.0.3.1 won’t let me create new eventsHey @gouv
Yikes! That’s not good.
This definitely looks like some form of conflict. Before you do anything, please make sure you have a staging site set up or at least make a full backup of your site in case things don’t go as planned.
- Try updating to the version we just released this week as it fixes many issues. Hopefully, it will fix this one too.
- If that doesn’t fix it, go through the complete testing for conflict procedure to find out if the issue comes from compatibility with another plugin or even your WordPress theme
Let us know what you find,
GeoffThank you for reaching out.
What multi-language solution are you using? It looks like there is only Spanish in the example you shared.
With that in mind, we are indeed working on a revamp of how we handle language in our URL so it would be great to make sure your use case is handled.
Hang in there!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar Nor RenderingHey @belle0416
Thank you for reaching out. Yikes!
It looks like the calendar is rendering here: https://opiechoice.com/calendar/From that page, I can see that you are running Events Calendar Pro. As such, please use our premium support forums: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/
With that in mind, you might want to try a different template under events >?settings > display to see if that helps.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Calendar Conflict with the Divi BuilderGood evening @twtull
Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for this glitch.
We are currently working on a fix for this, so stay tuned. In the meantime, other Divi users with the same issue have reported that unchecking the “include events in main blog loop” option under Events > Settings > General resolves the issue.
Hang in there,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Elementor not useable when Events Calendar is activatedThank you for reaching out. We are sorry for the inconvenience!
I am not able to reproduce the issue on my end.
It looks like there is some type of conflict at play. The first thing I would try is to see if the update we just released (after you wrote this message) fixes things.
If that doesn’t, I would suggest going through the complete testing for conflict procedure, on a staging site preferably, or at least after making a full backup of your site.
Let us know what you find out!
GeoffHey @simon_a6
That’s super odd.
It’s a bit hard to say what is going on without seeing the actual site, but if I were to guess, I would check the following:
- Is there an actual page that uses the /events slug? The reason I ask is that the calendar is not a “real” page, but it does need exclusivity on that URL
- Is it possible that the Include Events in the main blog loop is checked under Events > Settings > General?
- Is it possible that the theme on that site includes some customizations for The Events Calendar? A quick way to check, preferably on a staging site, is to temporarily revert to a non-FSE WordPress theme such as 2021 to see if you can select the styles
With that in mind, can you share the theme and PHP version you are using?
