@spannn1981 This is probably the same issue that has been ongoing for several months.

In the checkout page if you have create account tick box enabled and the customer checks it, you will always get this error with sumup plugin.

The workaround is to disable create account in checkout and to allow creat account separately or after the thank you for your purchase page

the only solution at moment is to disable new account creation during checkout. But that is not the only serious error in this plugin. It also takes payment and doesnt mark it as paid in woocommerce under other circumstancess as well. TBH i have given up on it. Ive probably spent 35/40 hours on it and i cant afford the time anymore. I even setup a test site just to reproduce the issue for sumup but they are just not interested in retianing customers it seems

@julliansumup Can i please have contact details for the head of integrations support or the head of your total support operation please. I would like to escalate these issues

@responsiblebbeing I wouldnt hold your breath,. I reported this about 2 months a go and i have chased 2/3 times. Ive disabled the sumup plugin on our site and gone back to paypal. That isnt the only serious error in it

Any idea where we are with a fix for this and any other bug fixes etc.

I have totally disabled the Sumup plugin for now. it is just not consistently reliable enough. I was still getting 1-3 issues a week on a low order frequency live site. The response and communication from integrations and support is very poor (please help me change my opinion Sumup). I have ran large IT multi team development and support services for many years. There is no clear line of reporting issues, no or almost no response or update and no setting of expectations. Im glad im not paying for this software as it is currently not fit for purpose.

I just had a look at your site and the checkout page and there is nothing different about it. I think everything that occurs in the sumup form area it is all under the control of the sumup plugin code. There may be a way of making the sumup form full screen but im not sure. How did you contact sumup? The team at sumup responsible can be contacted on this email address:-

The other option is to add an image after [woocommerce_checkout] on your checkout page

Where you have ‘Pay with my Credit Card’ as entered in the settings of the plugin in woocoomerce/settings/payments/sumup you can use html code in the title or description fields to add and a small image like this:-

<br><br><b><p style=”color:blue”>Please pay with your payment card via SumUp – Enter card details here and click Place Order</p></b>
