    Hi @localnorwegian ,

We’re truly sorry to hear that the recent update has caused such frustration and impacted your trust in BackWPup. We understand how important it is for you to have a reliable backup solution.

We’re actively working to improve the plugin, including removing the two-job limitation and restoring the ability to create, edit, and schedule as many backup jobs as needed, with full control over storage locations and backup frequencies.

While we work on these improvements, you can revert to version 4.1.7 here.

We hope you’ll consider sticking with us a bit longer as we enhance the plugin to better meet your needs.

Thank you for your patience and support.

    Hi @pao2 ,

We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the recent changes. We understand how crucial a reliable backup solution is for you and the importance of features like custom scheduling and file format selection. Restricting functionality was never our intention. Our aim was to simplify the backup process, but we recognize the need for greater flexibility.

As you mentioned in your update, we are committed to addressing these limitations and ensuring that all users, whether on the Free or Pro version, have the features they need.

We’re actively working to restore the ability to create as many backup jobs as you require, with options to select storage locations, frequencies, and file formats. Version 5.0.5 is set to be released in the coming days, reintroducing the ability to select file formats, including .zip files.

In the meantime, if you prefer, you can revert to version 4.1.7 here.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements.
