SiteGround.comHello @valerio_cas ,
We are currently not familiar with the specific hooks utilized by the aforementioned plugin. For detailed information, we recommend consulting the plugin’s developers regarding the hooks they employ. However, I can confirm that the hook
wp_trash_post
will automatically purge the cache, provided that automatic purging is enabled in the Speed Optimizer plugin.Additionally, the automatic cache purge is triggered by the
save_post
hook, which is applicable when posts are deleted or edited.Best regards,

SiteGround.comHello @paddy-landau ,
We kindly suggest opening a Helpdesk request with your query so that we can explore the issue further and conduct a few tests. From what I understand about the error you’re experiencing, it seems that the OPTIMIZE TABLE query is encountering difficulties with one of your database tables due to syntax issues. There could be various reasons for this occurrence, and once we have the opportunity to inspect it, we will respond to your ticket with more detailed information. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

SiteGround.comHello @chrissypritchard2016 ,
I can see that there are multiple fonts that are being used on the website and all of them preloaded. Yet there seems to be duplicate functionality as the fonts are first preconnected using the Yoast plugin, then there is the same functionality turned on from your WP-Rocket plugin and again visible in the code.
The way the fonts are preloaded by the Speed optimizer plugin is correct, they are consolidate in the combined .css and preloaded as “style”.
You should make sure that you remove duplicate functionalities as they use different ways to preload or preconnect fonts. Once you do that make sure that you only preload fonts that are critical for the initial rendering to avoid unnecessary resource loading.

SiteGround.comHello @vschafer,
All Weekly activity reports are sent from the server where your website is based at and From name: Security Optimizer by SiteGround.
The subject is always Subject:?Weekly Activity for YourWebsiteName
This is set by default in the plugin’s configuration and the only way to be modified is if the email is forwarded or there is a custom setting within the recipient’s mail.
More information and full details on the configuration can be found under /wp-content/plugins/sg-security/core/Activity_Log/Activity_Log_Weekly_Emails.php

SiteGround.comHello @joworeiter ,
It might be a conflict with the way the custom role is introduced if using a third-party plugin.
We need to investigate that further to present the case to our developers. Could you please share full details and Url of your website so we can check this further. We need to know what plugin you are using for the custom role, what is the role in question. You can also open a Helpdesk request through your Client Area so we can check things from there.

SiteGround.comThank you for your message, and I appreciate your engagement in the other thread as well.
As previously mentioned, both subscribing to and unsubscribing from the Weekly email reports can be managed directly through the WordPress Dashboard, specifically under the Speed Optimizer’s log settings.
We regret to hear that this functionality does not meet your expectations. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

SiteGround.comHello @swinggraphics ,
The weekly reports can be enabled/disabled only when the user is logged in their WordPress dashboard. To do so you can click on the Unsubscribe button, navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Activity log > Weekly reports and then delete the email account from the list of emails that receive the report.
At this point we do not plan to make any changes toward this opt-out mechanism and login to the dashboard would be required. An admin can remove more than one email accounts from the list of subscriptions if more recipients want to stop receiving the weekly reports.

Hello @gwmbox,
Could you please describe in more detail your idea so I can present it to our developers?

SiteGround.comHello @clarkag ,
Thank you for the feature request.
We will forward your request to our developers. Please note that the plugin is designed to optimize files that are successfully uploaded through the media gallery. Currently, WordPress does not support the upload of .heic images and requires them to be converted first. While it may be possible to develop a tool to handle this within the plugin, we would need to see a higher demand for such a feature before we can begin development.

In reply to: [Security Optimizer - The All-In-One Protection Plugin] Security headersHello @flintstoned ,
The features provided by the Security Optimizer can be checked on this link:
This includes Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks?this includes Content-Security-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options .
There is no feature Permissions-Policy, X-Frame-Options and Referrer-Policy. The Strict-Transport-Security was part of the plugin but we removed it as it caused issues with clients that don’t renew their SSL certificates and this caused an impact on them.
All of the above can be enabled manually under .htaccess under SiteGround servers if those are needed.
