Thanks for your reply. You are totally right. Tried in a test install and couldn’t replicate the problem. However, using other image while having Photon turned on didn’t make any difference.

In that case I’m pretty sure it is not a theme’s problem.

I decided to start using Cloudflare. Do you think it is necessary to turn on Photon?

Nice idea you have there. I did some research and ended up trying this plugin: wplike2get.

After you install it, you can set it up to your needs in Settings->wpLike2Get.

And in the post or page you want to create the download link you need to use this short code: [l2g id="999"] where the id value is the id of your image.

Since your current hosting expires in few days what do you think about migrating it to the new host? And then you start working in your new site in a subdomain (ex: yoursite.com/newsite).

Then when you are ready you can switch from yoursite.com/newsite to yoursite.com you can do it with a couple of clicks using this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicator/

Just to verify if Drupal .htaccess is causing any problem. Can you try renaming it to something like .htaccess-old. After doing that take a look at your WordPress installation to see if anything changed.

Hey @butlerjw, made a little experiment in a web with your same situation.

Effectively iOS does not allow transparency. What the generator does is create an icon with white background for iOS devices. Then you have to upload those files and add the code the tool generates to your site header.

The fast way to solve this could be to add a white background to your current favicon. If you don’t know how, I can help you doing that ??

I have confirmed with people of the forums and the black background seems to be an iOS issue. And what the generator does to avoid this is to add a background to the favicon.

Ok, I read that a solution would be to use partial transparency in your PNG to avoid the issue.

It would be enough to rename the plugin folder.

In order to do this we need to go to: /wp-content/plugins/
Once we are there, change the event-list folder name, ex: event-list2

The .htaccess seems to be ok. Now the only thing left is to check the server error logs. Can you please find the error log option in your CPanel and share it please?

Oh, you are right. I meant wp-config.php. Is there any option that says something like “Show Hidden Files”? That should help you find the .htaccess file
