In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product Collection Block – hand picked – only first 100 items?Hi @shameemreza
This topic was marked as solved on Github, but I’m running into the same behavior in WooCommerce 6.6.2. I have used the Product Collection Block to show the ‘On Sale‘ products, but only the first 100 are shown.
Hi @janilyn409 ,
Here is one example:

And here you would find an example of one of the products with ‘Other’ attributes.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Update pricesHi @carolm29,
I have screenshotted a few examples of pricelists as we receive them:
https://snipboard.io/bivSJM.jpg
https://snipboard.io/8Cnhck.jpg
https://snipboard.io/bK6v8R.jpg
https://snipboard.io/RcijZM.jpg
As you can see most pricelists consist of the name (partnumber) of the product, a description and the new price. I could use the name as the SKU, but that would be ugly in the presentation on the site. So, I have opted to use the partnumber as the name, and use the EAN/GTIN as the SKU.
Upon request most manufacturers will send the information they have available, like here:
https://snipboard.io/KNkyRX.jpg
As you can see most parts have an EAN code, but when receiving new pricelists these aren’t included. So, ideally I would like to define the field to match (name, SKU, ID, even description) and tell Woocommerce which fields from the CSV to put where (like it is now). You could even define a setting like ‘match the [name] field on condition that [attribute_manufacturer]=’Apple’
Does this sound logical? Am I doing something wrong, or using the database in the wrong way?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Update pricesHi @carolm29,
Thank you for replying! I understand this is the way to go, however, it defeats the ease of updating. Instead of updating through an easy import function I now have to manually update the prices in the Excel and reupload. Granted, it is faster, but at some 15k products it’s still a hell of a task.
Many of our suppliers release new pricelists based on their partnumber. They do not include the SKU (EAN/GTIN), some products don’t even have an SKU. I think I’ll need to write some Excel macro to match ID with partnumber and update.Hi @shameemreza ,
>If no products with attributes are on a page, you won’t see the Attributes filter. This is expected. However, once a product with attributes appears on the page, the filter will become visible.
As you can see from my screenshot of the filter flashing briefly there are products with attributes on the page, even with attributes at which I’m trying to filter.
>To manage such a large product catalog, I would recommend using the?WooCommerce Product Filter?plugin. This plugin allows your customers to filter products by various criteria, including product attributes.
Thank you for the recommendation, this indeed looks like what I’m trying to do. Is there a way to try the plugin or see it in action?
Many thanks for your help, GerardHello Stef,
I am trying to give my customers the ability to filter what they see. When all products are loaded we will have around 30k products, so I need to make sure they have the ability to zoom in on the correct product based on their specifications.
Since different products have different attributes I don’t want to list off all attributes (around 200 at least) unless there is a way to hide attributes that aren’t relevant anymore if I select another attribute, so if I can hide attributes where the results have dropped to zero.
How would you propose to filter?
I’m not sure about the slugs clashing. While they are alike, they are not equal.
Best regards, GerardGood morning Zubair Zahid,
Thank you for taking the time to try and help me. I have made 5 screenshots.

In reply to: [Sydney] Does Sydney disable the editor?Hello Kharis,
Thank you for the speedy reply!
I have admin rights.
My best guess now is that my webhost disables it. DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT was set to true.
I have enabled it by editing wp-config.php.I’ll contact them to see what happens.
Regards,
Gerard

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Slimstat stopped working?I don’t know. I haven’t changed a thing, so maybe my provider changed something?
I do have my own IP and name in the blacklist to prevent the tracker from showing me.
