H1,thank you for your response.
I had the problem for a few days then over the weekend the problem went away. I don’t know how. If I have the problem again I have your instructions above.
Thank you
Jerry
Hi, thank you for your response.
The problem just appeared out of nowhere on all subdomains and then over the weekend the problem just went away – everything in the cpanel file manager was cleaned up nicely. I must have a guardian angel or something.

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] automatic log outHi. Two things about my site that may have something to do with the error message. the site is view only on mobile. If someone were to register on the site they would get an email to set password and a link to the login page. On mobile that link is redirected ( function.php) with the conditional tag if mobile (mobble plugin) to a page that say’s mobile is view only. login not available. something else /wp-admin is redirected to https://test1.jerrypages.com/wp-admin/profile.php (simple 301 redirects plugin). With this used with the admin menu editor plugin a registered user can go to there profile page and there can be no dashboard link. There can also be a dashboard link to dashboard home, a dashboard link to updates or both.
With all the plugins deactivated (and the redirect removed from php because of the conditional tag if mobile) and the AIO plugin deleted , when AIO is reinstalled once it’s activated I am sent to the login page with the error message.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Custom capibilitiesHi,
prior to the above problem I removed Forum and Additional capability from the bottom of the edit user page. When the above problem happened I removed the code used to remove Forum and Additional capabilities and they reappeared on the bottom of the edit user page so I assumed that was not the problem. I was wrong.
Thank you for your time

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Custom capibilitiesHi,
I was able to find a version of my site using user role editor 4.18.4 that does not have the above problem.I updated user role editor to 4.19 on 8/02/2015 but the problem didn’t surface until today. Could the problem be related to version 4.19 or should I look elsewhere.
Thank you for your time.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] remove capThank you for your help.
Your instructions are very clear but because my site is not published yet I will probably be able to just use the filters when they are added to a future URE update.
Thank you again.

In reply to: Prevent users from changing e-mail addressThank you again for your help
The plugin works fine- I checked on both the admin and user side.
I noticed you used manage options this time instead of activate plugins, but that is something I can always change if I need to.
With my theme I use two child pages. A function.php child page and a style.css child page. The function.php you provided in the forum were put in my themes function.php child page. I did remove the script.js file I created and the function.php you provided in the forum before uploading and activating your plugin.
Thank you again for your time and your patience.

In reply to: Prevent users from changing e-mail addressAgain, thank you for your help.
Regarding the javascript option, I again checked to make sure I put the code provided correctly in function.php and script.js.
Of note, the changes (removals) made to the user’s profile page does not cause the error notice when a user is prevented from changing their email.
Also, I went back and did a test by deactivating all the plugins on my site, and another plugin does not cause the error notice when a user is prevented from changing their email.
Regarding the jQuery option, I don’t know if I did that correctly. In the script.js file I removed the javascript and replaced it with the jQuery exactly as shown above and made the change in my function.php child page. Everything is still back to default.
Thank you for your time.

In reply to: Prevent users from changing e-mail addressThank you for your help, it is appreciated.
Everything is back to default. The admin can change its own and users email and input fields and users can change their own email and input fields. I double checked function.php and script.js that the recent code was correct. Also, no user has the capability to activate_plugins and this I confirmed with the User Role Editor plugin.
Thank you for all the time you have spent on this.
