Pascal, I was able to go in and make those changes myself. Nothing broke, so that’s a good thing, and it’s working! I can input images and actually see them in the editor. In Firefox, where even the images in the media library in the editor, were blurred out, they are back to normal.
I greatly appreciate your help in this.

Pascal, thank you for explaining this so that I can understand the situation. I’ll get to Hostgator with this as soon as I watch those videos you’ve included.
I really appreciate both you and Adam for taking the time to help me resolve this.

I just saw above that the copied chat doesn’t fully show.

At the end, he said, IIS doesn’t run on Mac, so I guess you should try Apache, and then install module “mod_mono”. Microsoft IIS is not available for Mac, but there are plenty of alternatives that runs on macOS with similar functionality. The best Mac alternative is Apace HTTP Server.
… and then to check back with the developer.

    Yep, I’m still lost. ??

Unfortunately, I’m not further ahead. This is the chat response from Hostgator:

    [12:39:50 AM]Bryan :For IIS6
Open Internet Information Service (IIS) Manager.
Right click the site you want to enable CORS for and go to Properties.
Change to the HTTP Headers tab.
In the Custom HTTP headers section, click Add.
Enter Access-Control-Allow-Origin as the header name.
Enter * as the header value.
    Click Ok twice.
[12:40:20 AM]Gerhild:Where is the IIS manager
[12:40:50 AM]Bryan :To set your expectations correctly, it is beyond our limits to configure and troubleshoot issues with 3rd party site components being added to a client's site such as themes, plugins, templates, forms, widgets, etc.
[12:41:02 AM]Bryan :But let me go ahead and double check this for you.
[12:41:31 AM]Bryan :To open IIS Manager from the Start screen
    1. On the Start screen, click Control Panel.
    2. Click System and Security, and then click Administrative Tools.
    3. In the Administrative Tools window, double-click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
[12:42:24 AM]Gerhild:Sorry. The Start screen of what?
[12:42:25 AM]Bryan : Aside from this, is there anything else that I can do for you today?

    [12:43:24 AM]Bryan :It's on your cPanel.
    [12:44:10 AM]Gerhild:Ok. Thanks.
    [12:44:35 AM]Bryan :You're welcome!
[12:44:38 AM]Bryan : Aside from this, is there anything else that I can do for you today?

[12:46:13 AM]Gerhild:Sorry, I'm trying to find the System and Security
[12:46:47 AM]Bryan :Checking on it now, please bear with me.
    [12:46:55 AM]Gerhild:thanks
[12:48:42 AM]Bryan :Sorry, it's from the desktop of each server running CAPS on IIS, select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and then select Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
    [12:51:47 AM]Gerhild:Sorry, I'm lost. I don't have a 'start' on MacOS.
[12:52:23 AM]Bryan :I see, IIS doesn't run on Mac, so I guess you should try Apache, and then install module "mod_mono".
[12:52:50 AM]Bryan : Microsoft IIS is not available for Mac but there are plenty of alternatives that runs on macOS with similar functionality. The best Mac alternative is Apache HTTP Server, which is both free and Open Source.
[12:53:31 AM]Bryan :In this case you need to confirm this information again with you developer.

So, I’m back here. I have no idea what all this means. What’s Apache HTTP Server? And, shouldn’t the plugin work without any problems on a iMAC?

    Hi Adam,
I’m a WP newbie. I don’t understand what CORS is, and I didn’t set up any CDN. So, can I assume this isn’t my issue?
