Hi. I’ve been away from home for a few weeks and so have not been able to follow up your suggestion. My apologies.
I’ve now returned and have disabled all the plugins you mention and have switched to the Twenty TwentyTwo theme. I still get the problem on all my contact forms. The situation now is: No Change. Windows 10 & 11, android 8.1 and an ios 15 phone work OK but older androids & iphones do not. Some devices do nothing at all when the Send/Submit button is touched, some do react but give an error message (a standard CF7 “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”) and don’t send an email.
I’ve also tried different browsers, with the same result.
Do you have further suggestions ?
Thanks
Gerry

In reply to: I want to create a PDF of a WP page but nothing worksHi Praveen,
Thank you for this. It does seem to do what I want though there are one or two oddities which I need to sort out (e.g. it sends a file by email to me and loads a file on the web page with the same name – but the contents of the latter are different to those of the former and never change.) That’s for me to work out so, once again, thank you for this suggestion.
Regards

In reply to: WSOD on updating from 6.0 to 6.0.1I finally tracked down the problem. A logfile in /htdocs/<staging site>/wp-content/uploads/wp-staging/logs showed that there was a corrupt functions.php file in the hayden theme. Correcting that brings me back to normal. Thanks for your suggestion as I wouldn’t have tracked it down otherwise.

In reply to: WSOD on updating from 6.0 to 6.0.1btw – I’ve checked the Home Page on the main site and the staging site and, apart from the different URLs, which you would expect, they look identical.

In reply to: WSOD on updating from 6.0 to 6.0.1Thanks for your reply, George.
I renamed the hayden directory and went to Appearance. There were no alternative themes so I installed twenty twenty-two. I clicked on Configure and got this:
<list of menu options>
HOME
This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.

Is it of any help or do you want more info.
