In reply to: [Getty Images] Updated to WordPress 5.5. and plugin appears brokenHi evedawes – it looks like you’re using our Embed images (images freely available for blogs). Is this correct?
Can you post a link to a page on your site that shows this issue? I’m not able to find any myself.

In reply to: [Getty Images] Dont have the option to add multiple getty images sliderThanks for the feedback! We’re not actively making feature updates to the plugin at this time, but we do keep track of feature requests like this.
I’m sure you’ve already done this… check out some of the existing image gallery/slideshow plugins available for WordPress sites. There are many options that might meet your needs today.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [Getty Images] All images replaced with “Incorrect of invalid URL”Hi all,
We recently made a change to Embed that resulted in the “Invalid URL” message on all images embedded before the update. This issue was out for apx 5 days. We resolved the problem impacting previously created Embeds two days ago so you should be seeing your older Embeds again. Unfortunately, resolving the issue for the older embeds broke any Embedded images generated during that 5 period. We are currently unable to solve for both problems but feel supporting older Embeds is the priority and has lower impact. If you have any embeds showing an “Invalid URL” message still they were likely generated in that 5 day period and will need to be regenerated to use the correct URLs.
Sorry for the confusion and extra work this has caused. Please reach out if you have more questions.

In reply to: [Getty Images] install problemHi @karlmann,
Glad to hear you’re up and running! Unfortunately, the featured image option is not available for Embed, only for licensed download. Embed is added to the post as an iframe which is not supported for featured images. The link you sent is not an approved use of Embed because the iframe has been modified.

In reply to: [Getty Images] install problemHi @karlmann,
If you have the plugin installed and are editing a post, you can find the Getty Images plugin by clicking the small + sign to add a new block. The + will open a window showing available blocks. Within the blocks window you can search for Getty Images and click the Getty Images icon. That will create a Getty Images block that opens the plugin when you click Select Image. Here’s are a few screenshots to help:
Searching for the plugin: https://drive.google.com/open?id=18VfBA9rTVMny1PV-luE0vZpR9dbVVQQ8
Getty Images block inserted and ready to launch plugin: https://drive.google.com/open?id=18VfBA9rTVMny1PV-luE0vZpR9dbVVQQ8The plugin does support Embed so sounds like it will work perfectly for your needs.
Please reach out if you any more questions.

In reply to: [Getty Images] didn’t work at all – and stopped media from working, tooHi @greenbergman,
Thanks for the quick response. That does make sense but I’m still unable to reproduce the issue you’re reporting. I’m wondering if you might have had a conflict with another plugin or that something might be blocking the plugin from opening properly?Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Getty Images] didn’t work at all – and stopped media from working, tooHi @greenbergman,
Sorry to hear you experienced issues related to the plugin. I’m unable to recreate any of the issues you described and am wondering if you could provide more information so we can look into this more. What version of WordPress are you using? Are you using the new Guttenberg editor or the classic editor? Also, are you signed in and downloading against a subscription or using the Embed feature? Any details you can provide would be helpful.
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Getty Images] Version 4.0 – Now with support for GutenbergAhhh, I understand the situation better. The plugin offers two paths, one for logged in users like yourself, and one for users who are embedding content. I misunderstood your comment earlier and thought you were embedding.
I’ll make a note of your callout and see if this is a feature we can add in the future. Definitely makes sense and would allow you to work a little faster.

In reply to: [Getty Images] Version 4.0 – Now with support for GutenbergHi @robib. If you are signed into the Getty Images WordPress plugin and have credits or a subscription, the plugin displays a few different options, one of which is “Download and set as Featured Image”. Unfortunately, this isn’t available if you’re Embedding images rather than purchasing/downloading against a subscription. The Featured Image functionality requires an actual image whereas Embed is a snippet of code. Hope that helps! Let us know if you need more info.
